Tait Confidential Tait Electronics Ltd TECHNICAL NOTE TN-1072 T2000 - Obsolescence of the MRF1946A Final PA Transistor for the T20XX4XX-FXX 21st August 2005 Applicability 1. This Technical Note applies only to the T20XX-4XX-FXX. Introduction Due to the obsolescence of the MRF1946a final PA transistor, the SD1275 final PA transistor is being introduced into the T2000 product range as a replacement where appropriate. The first change is to the T20XX-4XX-FXX. With this change to the SD1275 the Tx frequency range of the radio will change from 175MHz-235MHz to 175MHz-208MHz. The Rx frequency range remains at 175MHz-235MHz. 2. Information What Is Changing?
