LIMITED WARRANTY Pelican Accessories warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the product will be free from defects in materials and / or workmanship for a period of 120 days from the date of purchase. If a defect covered by this warranty occurs during this period, Pelican Accessories at its option will repair or replace, at no charge, any part that Pelican Accessories determines to be defective. Instruction for Operation: PRODUCT OVERVIEW: ShockWave Wireless Controller uses advance technology which gives you the ability to play without the limitations of a typical corded controller, hence there are a few switches and LED (lights) not found on your basic PlayStation® 2 Controller. If they are put in wrong, it may cause personal injury as well as damage to your ShockWave Wireless Controller. Channel Switch This switch selects the broadcast channel of the radio frequency. There are four positions; 1,2,3 and 4. There is a corresponding Channel Switch on the receiver. Rumble ON/OFF Button: The rumble feature automatically turns on when the ShockWave is powered On. To turn Off the Rumble feature, press the Rumble button. Press the button again to turn the feature back On. The motors will rumble to signify when the Rumble featured has been turned On. Power Button This button turns your ShockWave wireless controller on. Press button to turn on. Signal LED (Green, Receiver and Controller): When on or flickering data is being transmitted between Controller and Receiver. Mode LED (Red, Controller) The Mode LED is Off for Digital Mode, On for Analog Mode, if the LED flashes, press the analog button again to enter a mode. Analog Button Press the analog button to cycle through modes. To turn off the controller press and hold the analog button until the two LEDs flicker together then release and the controller will power off. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Insert Batteries: Remove the battery lid and place the four AAA batteries (included) into the ShockWave Wireless Controller. Make sure they are inserted as shown in the battery compartment. The batteries included are not long life. 2. Plug in the Receiver: With the PlayStation® 2 turned off, plug the receiver into controller port one (far left port). 3. Select a Channel on the Controller: You may select any channel you desire 1,2,3, or 4. 4. Select a Channel on the Receiver: This must match the channel selected on the Controller. Note: If using more than one controller you must use different channel settings, i.e., the first controller and receiver are set to Channel 1, the second controller and receiver are set to channel 2. The channel position selected on the WaveStation controller and Receiver have no relation to the PlayStation® 2 controller ports. 5. Turn on the Controller: Press the Power button to turn ShockWave On, the signal LED will light. Note: If you wish to extend battery life press the Rumble Off button. This will turn off the rumble effect in game play resulting in a doubling of your battery life. To turn the rumble back on, press the rumble button again. The motor will vibrate indicating the rumble feature has been turned on. 6. Turn off the controller: Press and hold the analog button until the two LEDs flicker together. Release the button and the controller will turn off. OTHER FEATURES: Multiple Players: You may play with up to four ShockWave Wireless controllers with the use of a MultiTap. Check to see that the channel switches are set as outlined above. Power Save Mode: When not in use the ShockWave controller automatically goes into a sleep mode to conserve batteries. A touch of any button puts the controller back into play mode. Note: Turn off the controller when not in use to extend your battery life.
