Getting to Know Your Pronto Control Panel
Your TSU9800 Control Panel is designed and manufactured with great care to offer you a reliable
and easy operation of your home system. It has been preprogrammed by your installer and
contains a so-called configuration file that contains all the codes, graphical buttons and navigation
behaviour.

Charging the Control Panel
When your Control Panel is installed with a fixed power connection, your Control Panel is charged
permanently. Continue with ‘Enjoying Your Pronto Control Panel’ below.
When the Battery level icon
on your screen turns red, it is time to charge the Control Panel.
Depending on how your installer has configured the Control Panel, it can be operated for one to
several days.
Note
The lifetime of the battery depends on the time out settings and the settings of the wireless
network configured by your installer. If you notice that the battery is deteriorating, please
contact your installer.
When you place the Control Panel in the docking station, a red glow will
become visible, indicating that the Control Panel is being charged.
When the red glow fades out, the Control Panel is fully charged.
This can take 4 hours.
When the battery is low and the red glow on the docking is not visible,
make sure that:

the power switch at the bottom of the Control Panel is switched to ‘On’.
the Control Panel is placed properly in the docking station.
the connector in the docking station is clean and free of obstructions.
the docking station is plugged in the wall outlet. When it is plugged in, the docking station
spreads a white glow.
Tips • To turn off the white docking glow, set the switch at the back of the docking
station to ‘Off’.
• It is advised to place the Control Panel in the docking station after use. Even
when the screen of the Control Panel turns black, the Control Panel is still using
power.

Depending on the settings made in the Screen Settings page, the screen is also activated when
you:

When the Control Panel is installed with fixed power and Ethernet connection, do not tilt the
Control Panel to avoid disconnecting the cables.

Turning the Control Panel On/Off
Power switch
The power switch on the
bottom of the Control
Panel turns the Control
Panel on and off.
Tip
Always switch off the Control Panel during transport to avoid the activation of the touchscreen and
battery draining.
Changing the Pronto Settings
Tip
Your installer might have blocked the access to the Settings pages.
Normally, your installer has fully programmed your Control Panel and no changes are required.
To open the Settings pages:

Press and hold the Settings icon
for more than 3 seconds.
General
On the Info Page you can find the version and
network information and memory status.
To access the other Settings pages:
• Tap the different tabs.
To change Date & Time settings:
1 Tap the Month, Day, Year, or Time
button.
The button is highlighted.
2 Tap the ‘-’ and ‘+’ buttons to adjust
the date or time.
To change the Volume settings:
• Tap the ‘-’ and ‘+’ buttons to adjust
the volume settings.
The General volume
refers to all sounds
you hear when you
operate the Control
Panel.
Tip
The Button volume
specifically refers to
the default sound you
hear when you press
a button.
Press and hold the ‘-’ and ‘+’ buttons to decrease or increase the setting faster.

To change the Activation Settings:

The screen is calibrated in the factory. Do not use this function unless you experience problems
with the touch screen.
Support
Maintaining the Control Panel
Take care not to damage the touch screen
• Do not drop the Control Panel or subject it to any strong impact.
• Use the stylus enclosed or your finger to tap the touch screen.
Attention Never use an actual pen, pencil or other sharp object on the touch screen to avoid scratching
the touch screen.
Protect the Control Panel from temperature extremes
Keep the Control Panel away from heaters and other heat sources.
The Control Panel is not waterproof
The Control Panel should not be exposed to rain or moisture.
Do not store or use the Control Panel in any location that is extremely damp or wet.
When you have spilled water on the Control Panel, you have to turn it off by switching the
Power switch to ‘Off’.
Place the Control Panel in a clean environment to dry.

Cleaning the Control Panel
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the Control Panel.
• If the touch screen is dirty, clean it with a soft cloth moistened with a diluted window-cleaning
solution.
• Do not use a corrosive detergent or an abrasive sponge.
• Avoid the use of abundant water.
Troubleshooting
The buttons on the touch screen of my Control Panel do not work properly
When you find that tapping a button activates one of the adjacent buttons, or when you have to
tap next to a button to activate it, it is advised to recalibrate the touch screen as described in
‘Changing the Pronto Settings: Screen’ on page 5.
Calibrating is a way of adjusting the touch screen to reobtain accuracy and reliability.
The Control Panel goes to stand-by mode automatically
This is the time out feature of the Control Panel to save power. You can adjust the time that the
Control Panel stays active in the Settings pages on the tab Screen, as described in ‘Changing the
Pronto Settings’ on page 5.
My A/V equipment does not respond to commands from the Control Panel
• Check the status of the battery on the screen. If the Battery level icon is red, recharge the
Control Panel as described in ‘Charging the Control Panel’ on page 3.
• When your Control Panel works in a WiFi environment, bear in mind that it may take the network
a few seconds to wake up and start transmitting codes.
• You may be out of reach of the WiFi network. The WiFi activity icon that normally indicates the
WiFi strenght changes into

The Network activity icon shows no network strength
Note
The Network activity icon may not be visible on the screen, depending on the settings made
by your installer.
If the Control Panel shows one of the following icons:
WiFi
Ethernet
No connection
• The Wireless Access Point is powered down
• The Control Panel is out of range of the Wireless Access point
• There is an encryption problem
• When the Control Panel is installed to work with Ethernet, the router
may have to be reset.
No identification
• There occurred an IP problem. If the problem comes up regularly,
contact your installer to change the settings.

• When the Control Panel works in a WiFi environment, bear in mind that the Control Panel is still
using power even when its screen is black. It is advised to place the Control Panel in the docking
station each time after use.
• When the battery runs out of power constantly, it may be time to replace the battery. Contact
your installer for more information.

Introducción al Control Panel Pronto
El Control Panel TSU9800 se ha diseñado y fabricado con el máximo cuidado para que pueda
disfrutar de un funcionamiento sencillo y fiable de su sistema doméstico. Ha sido preprogramado
por el instalador e incluye un archivo denominado de configuración que contiene todos los códigos,
botones gráficos y comportamiento de navegación.

Carga del Control Panel
Si se instala el Control Panel con una conexión de alimentación fija, se cargará de forma
permanente. Pase a la sección siguiente "Disfrute del Control Panel Pronto".
Cuando el icono de nivel de la batería
de la pantalla se pone rojo, ha llegado el momento
de cargar el Control Panel. Dependiendo del modo en que el instalador haya configurado el Control
Panel, podrá funcionar durante uno o varios días.
Nota
La duración de la batería dependerá de los ajustes de tiempo de espera y de los ajustes
de la red inalámbrica configurados por el instalador. Si observa un deterioro de la batería,
póngase en contacto con el instalador.
Cuando coloque el Control Panel en la estación base, aparecerá una luz roja
que indica que el Control Panel se está cargando.
Cuando la luz roja se apague, el Control Panel estará totalmente cargado.
Puede tardar 4 horas.
Si la batería es baja y no aparece la luz roja en la estación,
asegúrese de que:
• el interruptor de encendido situado en la parte inferior del Control Panel
esté en la posición "On";
• el Control Panel esté bien colocado en la estación base;
• el conector de la estación base esté limpio y no haya ninguna obstrucción en él;
• la estación base esté conectada a un enchufe de pared. Cuando está conectada,
la estación base emite una luz blanca.
Consejos • Para apagar la luz blanca de la estación, coloque el interruptor de la parte
			 posterior de la estación base en la posición "Off".
		 •	Se recomienda colocar el Control Panel en la estación base tras su uso.
Incluso cuando la pantalla del Control Panel se funde a negro, el Control
Panel sigue consumiendo energía.

Limpieza del Control Panel
• Utilice un paño suave y húmedo para limpiar el Control Panel.
• Si la pantalla se ensucia, límpiela con un paño suave humedecido con una solución
limpiacristales.
• No utilice un detergente corrosivo ni una esponja abrasiva.
• No utilice una cantidad excesiva de agua.
Resolución de problemas
Los botones de la pantalla táctil de mi Control Panel no funcionan
correctamente.
Si ve que al tocar un botón se activa uno de los botones adyacentes o si tiene que tocar al lado
de un botón para activarlo, se recomienda volver a calibrar la pantalla táctil, tal como se describe
en la sección "Cambio de la configuración de Pronto: Pantalla" de la página 5.
El calibrado es una forma de ajustar la pantalla táctil para lograr de nuevo precisión y fiabilidad.
El Control Panel se coloca en modo de espera automáticamente
Se trata de la función de tiempo de espera del Control Panel para ahorrar energía. Puede ajustar el
tiempo que el Control Panel se mantiene activo en las páginas de configuración en la ficha Screen,
tal como se describe en "Cambio de la configuración de Pronto" de la página 5.
Mi equipo A/V no responden a los comandos del Control Panel
• Compruebe el estado de la batería en la pantalla. Si el icono de nivel de la batería está rojo,

Le TSU9800 Control Panel a été conçu et fabriqué avec le plus grand soin pour permettre une
utilisation fiable et simple de votre système Home Cinéma. Préprogrammé par votre installateur,
il comporte un fichier de configuration contenant tous les codes, boutons graphiques ainsi que le
comportement de navigation.

Charge du Control Panel
Lorsque votre Control Panel est installé avec une connexion d'alimentation fixe, il est chargé en
permanence. Passez à la section « Utilisation de Pronto Control Panel » ci-dessous.
Lorsque l'icône de niveau de batterie
vire au rouge sur l'écran, le moment est venu de recharger
le Control Panel. Selon la configuration du Control Panel réalisée par l'installateur, celui-ci est utilisable
entre un et plusieurs jours.
Remarque
La durée de vie de la batterie dépend des paramètres de temporisation et des paramètres
du réseau sans fil configurés par votre installateur. S'il vous semble que la batterie se
détériore, contactez votre installateur.
Lorsque vous placez le Control Panel sur la station d'accueil, elle émet une
lueur rouge pour indiquer que le Control Panel est en cours de chargement.
Lorsque la lueur rouge s'éteint, le Control Panel est entièrement chargé.
Cette opération peut prendre jusqu'à 4 heures.
Lorsque la batterie est épuisée et que la station n'émet pas une lueur rouge,
vérifiez que :

l'interrupteur en bas du Control Panel est en position « On » ;
le Control Panel est correctement posé sur la station d'accueil ;
le connecteur de la station d'accueil est propre et bien dégagé ;
la station d'accueil est branchée sur une prise secteur. Lorsqu'elle est branchée, la station
d'accueil émet une lueur blanche.
Conseils • Pour éteindre la lueur blanche de la station d'accueil, réglez l'interrupteur
à l'arrière de la station sur « Off ».
• Il est conseillé de placer le Control Panel sur la station d'accueil après
utilisation. Même lorsque son écran est éteint, le Control Panel consomme
de l'énergie.

Conseil
Mettez toujours le Control Panel hors tension lors des transports pour éviter d'épuiser les
batteries ou d'activer l'écran tactile.
Modification des paramètres du Pronto
Conseil
Votre installateur a pu bloquer l'accès aux pages Settings.
Normalement, votre installateur a entièrement programmé votre Control Panel ; aucune
modification n'est donc nécessaire.
Pour ouvrir les pages Settings :

Appuyez sur l'icône Settings
pendant 3 secondes minimum.
Général
La version, les informations relatives au réseau
et l'état de la mémoire figurent sur la page Info.
Pour accéder aux autres pages Settings :

Assistance
Entretien du Control Panel
Veillez à ne pas endommager l'écran tactile.
• Ne faites pas tomber le Control Panel et ne lui faites pas subir de chocs importants.
• Utilisez le stylet fourni ou votre doigt pour taper sur l'écran tactile.
Attention
N'utilisez en aucun cas un vrai stylo, crayon ou tout autre objet pointu sur l'écran tactile car
vous risqueriez de rayer sa surface.
Protégez le Control Panel contre les températures extrêmes.
Gardez le Control Panel à bonne distance de chauffages et d'autres sources de chaleur.
Le Control Panel n'est pas étanche.
Le Control Panel ne doit pas être exposé à la pluie ou à l'humidité.
Ne laissez et n'utilisez pas le Control Panel en un endroit particulièrement humide ou mouillé.
Si vous renversez de l'eau sur le Control Panel, éteignez-le impérativement en réglant
l'interrupteur sur « Off ».
Placez le Control Panel dans un endroit propre pour le faire sécher.

Nettoyage du Control Panel
• Nettoyez le Control Panel à l'aide d'un chiffon doux légèrement humide.
• Si l'écran tactile est sale, frottez-le avec un chiffon doux humecté d'une solution diluée de produit
d'entretien pour vitres.
• N'employez pas de détergent corrosif ou une éponge abrasive.
• Ne la lavez pas à grande eau.
Dépannage
Les boutons de l'écran tactile du Control Panel ne fonctionnement pas
correctement.
Si en tapant sur un bouton, vous activez un des boutons adjacents, ou si vous devez taper à côté d'un
bouton pour l'activer, il est recommandé de procéder à un ré-étalonnage de l'écran tactile comme
décrit à la section « Modification des paramètres du Pronto : Écran », page 5.
L'étalonnage permet de régler l'écran tactile afin de retrouver précision et fiabilité.
Le Control Panel passe automatiquement en mode veille.
Au bout d'un certain temps, le Control Panel passe en mode veille pour économiser l'énergie. Vous
pouvez modifier la durée pendant laquelle le Control Panel reste actif dans les pages Settings au niveau
de l'onglet Screen, comme décrit à la section « Modification des paramètres du Pronto », page 5.
Mon installation audiovisuelle ne réagit pas au Control Panel.
• Vérifiez l'état de la batterie sur l'écran. Si l'icône de niveau de batterie est rouge, rechargez le
Control Panel, comme expliqué à la section « Charge du Control Panel », page 3.
• Lorsque le Control Panel fonctionne dans un environnement WiFi, gardez à l'esprit que
l'activation du réseau et la transmission des codes peuvent être retardées de quelques secondes.
• Il est possible que vous soyez hors de portée du réseau WiFi. L'icône d'activité WiFi indiquant
normalement la puissance du signal WiFi est remplacée par l'icône
Reportez-vous au paragraphe suivant.
L'icône d'activité réseau n'indique pas la puissance du signal réseau.
Remarque
En fonction des réglages réalisés par l'installateur, il est possible que l'icône d'activité
réseau ne s'affiche pas.
Si le Control Panel affiche l'une des icônes suivantes :

Pas de connexion
• Le point d'accès sans fil est hors tension.
• Le Control Panel est hors de portée du point d'accès sans fil.
• Un problème de chiffrement s'est produit.
• Lorsque le Control Panel est installé de manière à fonctionner sur
Ethernet, il peut être nécessaire de réinitialiser le routeur.
Pas d'identification
• Un problème d'IP s'est produit. Si ce problème est récurrent, contactez
votre installateur pour modifier les paramètres.

Le Control Panel se décharge rapidement
• Lorsque le Control Panel fonctionne dans un environnement WiFi, gardez à l'esprit qu'il consomme
de l'énergie même lorsque son écran est éteint. Il est conseillé de placer le Control Panel sur la
station d'accueil après chaque utilisation.
• Si la batterie est constamment épuisée, elle doit peut-être être remplacée. Contactez votre
installateur pour des informations complémentaires.
