If you have an ATI graphics card installed in your system, you will also enjoy additional control over ATI software. ATI REMOTE WONDER II works with other ATI products, such as the RADEON® 9700 Series cards, although some buttons will be inactive (TV and TV-ON-DEMAND™, for example). It also works with any Windows Me or newer PC, regardless of the graphics card, but functionality is limited to mouse control and the plugins installed on the system. System Requirements • Windows® 2000, Windows® Me, or Windows® XP Home/Professional • Pentium® III or equivalent, 64MB RAM, available USB port Installing Your REMOTE WONDER II 1 Open the battery container on the back of the ATI REMOTE WONDER II, and then insert three, AAA batteries. 2 Insert the included ATI Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. 3 If you have an ATI ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 7500/8500/8500DV graphics card, the ATI REMOTE WONDER II software is automatically installed when you click Easy Install on the ATI CD Install screen. When this is completed, skip to step 5. If you have an ATI RAGE 128/128 PRO, RADEON family, or newer graphics card, click Easy Install on the ATI CD Install screen to install the latest ATI Multimedia Center, and then allow the computer to restart. If you have an older ATI graphics card or non-ATI graphics card, skip to step 4. 4 Install the ATI REMOTE WONDER II software: click the ATI REMOTE WONDER II icon on the ATI CD Install screen. Follow the on-screen instructions, and then allow the computer to restart. 5 Plug the remote receiver into any available USB port on your computer. The ATI REMOTE WONDER II icon will appear on the Windows taskbar. Your ATI REMOTE WONDER II is ready to use! The following tables (on facing pages for easy use) list all ATI REMOTE WONDER II functions when used with ATI Multimedia Center 7.6 or newer. Note that you will require an ALL-IN-WONDER family product to access the features listed under the TV heading. Any replaced parts become the property of ATI. This warranty does not apply to the software component of a product or a product which has been damaged due to accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation, usage not in accordance with product specifications and instructions, natural or personal disaster, or unauthorized alterations, repairs, or modifications. Limitations • This warranty is valid only if the online Product Warranty Registration form at http://www.ati.com/online/registration is successfully submitted within 30 days of purchase of said product. • All warranties for this product, when purchased as a retail product, expressed or implied, will expire three (3) years* from date of original purchase. *The ATI REMOTE WONDER II unit is warranted for 1 year. All accompanying cables and accessories are warranted for 90 days • No warranties for this product, expressed or implied, shall extend to any person who purchases the product in a used condition. • The liability of ATI in respect of any defective product will be limited to the repair or replacement of such product. ATI may use new or equivalent-tonew replacement parts. Defective product will be sent in for repair or replacement only. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
