3.9 RF Home ID and Device ID Setup
The communication link between R01406901 and Dongle is uniquely matd'ied by a set of CH ID
and Device ID — selectable by end user. The purpose of the Device ID is to prevent confusion if
user has installed with more then 1 set of receiver. CH ID will avoid interference between
neighbours with similar AV Receiver system installed.
CH ID consists of digit: 0, 1, 2 & 3
Device ID consists of digit: 0 to 9, A to F
Please refer to Section 3.9.5 Setup Menu to enter IR/RF menu and refer to section 3.9.5.4
IRIRF Menu to select the CH and Device ID.
3.10 Battery Low Indication
Upon power up, if the RAM has not been oormpted, the remote control will maintain the user
settings (programmed Ids).
Upon power up. if RAM has been corrupted, the remote will be resetto its original default states.
That is AMP will be the default mode, and each mode will have its initial dekult ID. Please refer
to section 3 on the default table for all devices.
3.11 Power down mode
In this mode, a minimum of current is consumed to maximise battery lifetime. This mode is
entered when no actions need to be executed. When the user presses a button on the keypad,
normal operating mode is entered. No memory setting is lost.
3.12 Stuck Key mode
Stuck Key means that a button has been pressed for a very long time in normal operating mode.
To preserve battery power, the remote will shut down about 80 seconds after the last key
transition to consume minimal power. After all keys are released, the remote resumes normal
operation.
