Chargingthebattery
BeforeusingPrimaxPHS-3,youmustchargetheproductfor
approximately2hours.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,itprovides
upto9hoursoftalktimeandupto200hoursofstandbytime.
1.ConnectthechargercabletoPrimaxPHS-3asshown
intheFigure1.
2.PlugtheACadapterintoawalloutlet.WhenPrimaxPHS-3is
charging,redindicatorlightwilldisplay.
3.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,theblueindicatorlightisdisplayed.
UnplugthechargercablefromthewalloutletandPrimaxPHS-3.
PairingtheBluetoothheadsettoa
Bluetoothmobilephone
PairingistheprocessoflinkingtheheadsetwithyourBluetooth
enabledmobilephone.Afterthisprocessiscompleted,youcanuse
thePrimaxPHS-3onlywiththispairedmobilephone.Ifyouwantto
usePrimaxPHS-3withanothermobilephone,youmustrepeatthe
pairingprocessagain.ThePrimaxPHS-3canbepairedwithupto8
compatiblephonesbutconnectedtoonlyonephoneatatime.
1.Makesurethatthecompatiblephoneisturnedonandwithin
10meteroftheheadset.
2.TurnonPrimaxPHS-3andmakesuretheheadsetischarged.Press
andholdvolumeupkeyandvolumedownkeytogetherfor3seconds.
TheBlueandredLEDswillflashalternatively.Releasebothbuttons
andtheheadsetisnowinpairingmode.
3.ActivatetheBluetoothconnectionfromthephone.Youmayneedto
consultwithmobilephoneuserguideofyourphoneregardinghowto
dothat.
4.SetthephonetostartsearchingforBluetoothdevicesasinstructed
inuserguideofyourphone.
5.SelectthePrimaxPHS-3fromthelist.
6.Enterthepincodetoconnect(or"pair")PrimaxPHS-3tothe
phone.
PrimaxPHS-3beepsonceandanactiveBluetoothconnectionis
displayedbyablinkingblueindicatorlight.
IfPrimaxPHS-3isturnedonwithin10metersofseveralpaired
phones,theheadsetwilltrytoconnecttothelastconnectedphone
within10seconds.Iftheheadsetcannotconnecttothelastconnected
phone(forexample,phoneisturnedofforitrejectstheconnection),
itremainsconnectableforotherphonesforapproximately10minutes,
whichisdisplayedbytheblinkingblueindicatorlight.Iftheconnection
cannotbemadeduringthistime,theheadsetisturnedoffautomatically.
7.Somephonesrequireadditionalsteptoconnecttheheadsetunder
theBluetoothmenu,pleasemakesurethedeviceconnectionis
activated.

DisconnectingtheBluetoothheadset
fromthephone
TodisconnectPrimaxPHS-3fromthephone,dooneofthefollowing:
1TurnoffPrimaxPHS-3.
2.DisconnectPrimaxPHS-3inthephonemenu.
3.Movetheheadsetmorethan10metersawayfromthephone.
PrimaxPHS-3isalsodisconnectedifthebatterybecomesflat.
Notethatyoudonotneedtodeletethepairingwiththeheadsetto
disconnectit.Whenyoureconnectapairedheadset,youwillnotbe
askedforitspincode.

Makingcalls
ToreconnectPrimaxPHS-3tothelastconnectedphone,turnon
PrimaxPHS-3.Otherwise,maketheconnectioninthephonemenu
asinstructedintheuserguideofyourphone.
ToturnonPrimaxPHS-3
Pressandholdthepowerkeyfor3seconds.PrimaxPHS-3beepsand
theblueindicatorlightstartsblinking.Theblinkingcontinuesfor
approximately10minutesoruntiltheheadsetisconnectedtoa
compatiblephone.Iftheheadsetcannotbeconnectedtothephone
duringthistime,theheadsetisturnedoff.
ToturnoffPrimaxPHS-3
Pressandholdthepowerkeyfor3second,PrimaxPHS-3beepsand
theredindicatorlightisdisplayedbriefly.
WhenPrimaxPHS-3isconnectedtothephone,makeacallbyusing
thephoneinthenormalway.Notethatthecallfunctionsdependon
thephonethatyouuse.
Whenyoureceiveacall,youheararingingtonethroughtheheadset.
Pressthepower/send/endkeytoanswerthecallortoendthe
currentlyactivecall.
Youcanalsoanswerandendthecallusingthephone.
Whenyoureceiveanincomingcallthatyoudonotwanttoanswer,
simplypressthepower/send/endkeyandholditfor3seconds.
Pressthevolumeupkeyfor3secondswhennocallisinprogress.
Youcanmuteorunmutetheongoingcallbypressingthe
power/send/endandvolumeupkeystogetherfor3secondswhen
acallisinprogress.

secondsorusetherespectfunctioninyourphone.
Whenacallisinprogress,thereisanothercalliscomingin.Simply
presspower/send/endkeyandholditformorethan5secondsoruse
therespectfunctioninyourphone.
Whenacallisinprogress,threewayconferencecallisactivated
bypressingvolumedownkeyfor3seconds.
