T40LR Tag User’s Guide A member of the PinPoint Critical family, the T40 long-range tag is ideally suited for applications that require long-range, high-resolution location information. Activating the Tag FEATURES: • Long Range • Call Button • Tamper Proof • Ruggedized • Long Battery Life • Easy,Flexible Mounting • Compact Size • FCC Complient Two steps must be performed to see the tag in the ViewPoint software. First, the T40 tag must be turned on. Simply remove the power jumper located in the bottom of the tag. As shown in Figure 1. With the jumper plug removed, the tag will exit sleep mode and become active. Second, the Tag must be entered in the ViewPoint Configurator Tag Builder Tool as shown in figure 2. When installing the Tags, keep in mind some materials reflect or absorb radio signals in the immediate area of the Tag (i.e. metal doors) could hinder its performance. The Tags may be washed with a soft cloth that is lightly dampened with alcohol, diluted bleach, and diluted ammonia. Harsher solutions may cause damage to the Tag’s exterior or seal. It is company policy that these Tags are transported by air while in non-active mode.
