Important Safety Information
Keep the phone (“Product”) away from dust, water, damp
areas, precipitation and humidity. Dust, water, liquids,
precipitation and humidity may cause overheating, electrical
leakage, and/or Product failure. The Product, battery,
charger and AC adapter are not waterproof. Keep them
away from liquid, fuels and chemicals. If the Product gets
wet, do not place the Product in an oven, microwave or
dryer, as this will damage the Product and could cause a
fire or explosion.
Only use the battery and charger approved by the
manufacturer. Using other brands may cause battery
leakage, overheating, explosion or even fire. Do not use the

Battery Use
Handle and store batteries properly to avoid injury or
damage. Most battery issues arise from improper handling
of batteries and, particularly, from the continued use of
damaged batteries.
• Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, shred, or otherwise
attempt to change the form of your battery.
• Do not let the phone or battery come in contact with
liquids.
• Do not place your battery in or near a heat source.
Excessive heating can damage the phone or the battery and
could cause the phone or the battery to explode.
• Do not dispose of the phone or the battery in a fire.
• Do not handle a damaged or leaking battery.
• Do not allow the battery to touch metal objects.
• Misuse of or use of incomplete phones, batteries and
charging devices could result in damage to equipment and
possible risk of fire, explosion or leakage, leading to serious
injuries, damage to your phone or other serious hazards.
• The maximum operating temperature is 40°C.
Note: The battery shall only be serviced by the
manufacturer.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an
incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries in accordance with
local regulations.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The Product, the battery and the charger are not waterproof.
Do not use them in places with high humidity like a
bathroom and also avoid spilling any liquids on the Product,
battery or charger. Use a soft cloth to clean the Product, the
battery and the charger. Do not use alcohol, diluted liquid
or benzene to clean the Product.
Disposal of Product and Batteries
Follow local regulations regarding disposal of mobile
devices and batteries. In some areas, the disposal of these
items in household or business trash may be prohibited.
Please follow your local regulations and recycle Product if
required Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.

Hearing Aid Compatibility Information
This phone meets the M3/T3 level rating
This phone has been tested and rated for use with hearing
aids for some of the wireless technologies it uses. However,
there may be some newer technologies that have not been
tested yet for use with hearing aids. It is important to try the
different features of this phone thoroughly and in different
locations, using your hearing aid or cochlear implant, to
determine if you hear any interfering noise. Ask your service
provider or the manufacturer of this phone for information
on hearing aid compatibility. When some mobile phones
are used near some hearing devices (hearing aids and
cochlear implants), users may detect a buzzing, humming, or
whining noise. Some hearing devices are more immune than
others to this interference noise and phones also vary in the
amount of interference they generate.

Data transmission is always initiated by software, which is
then passed down through the MAC, through the digital and
analog baseband, and finally to the RF chip. Several special
packets are initiated by the MAC. These are the only ways
the digital baseband portion will turn on the RF transmitter,
which it then turns off at the end of the packet. Therefore, the
transmitter will be on only while one of the aforementioned
packets is being transmitted. In other words, this device
automatically discontinues transmission in case of either
absence of information to transmit or operational failure.
ORBIC LIMITED WARRANTY
WHO THIS WARRANTY COVERS
This 12 month limited warranty extends only to the original
purchaser of this product within the United States. This
warranty is not transferable. This warranty is conditioned
upon the proper use of the Product.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS
Orbic offers you a limited warranty that extends for the first
twelve (12) month period to the original purchaser from the
date of original purchase with proof of purchase. Without
valid proof of purchase, Orbic offers a limited warranty
extending fifteen (15) months from date of manufacture,
which is coded on the product label (“Warranty Period”).
Should the Product, inbox accessories or any part during
normal consumer usage and conditions be proven defective
in material or workmanship that results in Product failure,
such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced (with new or
rebuilt parts) at Orbic’s discretion, without charge for parts
or labor directly related to the defect.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
1. Warranty claims outside of the Product warranty Period.
2. Damage or defects caused by using the Product other
than in the normal course.
3. Defects or damages resulting from accidental, misuse,
abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage,
unauthorized modifications, unauthorized repair,
improper installation, or other acts which are not the
fault of Orbic.
4. Defects or damage resulting from excessive force or use
of a metallic object when pressing the touch screen.
5. Product with altered, defaced or removed serial number.
6. Damage resulting from use of accessories not approved
by Orbic.
7. Damage from exposure to moisture, humidity, excessive
temperature or extreme environment.
8. Liquid damage due to not properly sealed/locked
accessories, ports and or battery latches of water
resistance devices.
9. All surfaces and externally exposed parts that are
scratched or damaged due to normal customer use.
10. All software, including operating system software, thirdparty software, applications, and all other software of
any kind.
11. Damage caused by ordinary wear and tear of the
Product.
12. Customer abuse or other physical abuse or mistreatment
of Product as evidenced by:
a. Missing required faceplate;
b. Damaged LCD or Touch Lens (e.g., the product is
either broken, cracked, smashed, bleeding, etc.;
c. IMEI is unreadable electronically or due to missing or
altered serial number, IMEI and/or reliance date label
so as to affect readability;
d. Missing keys on keypad beyond normal wear and
tear;
e. Unapproved Product modification;
f. Visible Product surface physical damage resulting in
product being smashed, chewed, gouged, burned or
melted;
g. Liquid damage as evidenced by submission in
liquid or any other evidence of liquid ingress, including
corrosion of any of the connections and noticeable
excessive residue.
WHAT ARE THE LIMITS OF ORBIC’S LIABILITY
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SETS OUT THE FULL EXTENT
OF ORBIC’S RESPONSIBILITIES AND THE EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY REGARDING THE PRODUCT. ALL IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED
TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN
NO EVENT SHALL ORBIC BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN
EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT
OR FOR, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COMMERCIAL
LOSS OF ANY SORT; LOSS OF USE, TIME, DATA,
REPUTATION, OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, PROFITS, OR
SAVINGS; INCONVENIENCE; INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING
FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.
SOME STATES AND JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW
LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY
LASTS, OR THE DISCLAIMER OR LIMITATION OF
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE
ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS MAY NOT
APPLY TO YOU.
ORBIC MAKES NO WARRANTIES OR
REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY
OR OTHERWISE, AS TO THE QUALITY, CAPABILITIES,
OPERATIONS, PERFORMANCE OR SUITABILITY OF ANY
THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE OR EQUIPMENT USED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PRODUCT, OR THE ABILITY
TO INTEGRATE ANY SUCH SOFTWARE OR EQUIPMENT
WITH THE PRODUCT DISTRIBUTED BY ORBIC OR
OTHERWISE. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE QUALITY,
CAPABILITIES, OPERATIONS, PERFORMANCE AND
SUITABILITY OF ANY SUCH THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
OR EQUIPMENT RESTS SOLELY WITH THE USER AND
THE DIRECT VENDOR, OWNER OR SUPPLIER OF SUCH
THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE OR EQUIPMENT.
Nothing in the Product instructions or information shall
be construed to create an express warranty of any kind
with respect to the Product. No agent, employee, dealer,
representative or reseller is authorized to modify or extend this
Limited Warranty or to make binding representations or claims,
whether in advertising, presentations or otherwise, on behalf of
Orbic regarding the Product or this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warrant gives you specific legal rights and you
may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES FOR RESOLVING
DISPUTES?
ALL DISPUTES WITH ORBIC ARISING IN ANY WAY FROM
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE SALE, CONDITION
OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT SHALL BE
RESOLVED EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH FINAL AND BINDING
ARBITRATION, AND NOT BY A COURT OR JURY. Any
such dispute shall not be combined or consolidated with a
dispute involving any other person’s or entity’s products or
claim and, specifically, without limitation of the foregoing,
shall not under any circumstances proceed as part of a class
action. The arbitration shall be conducted before a single
arbitrator, whose award may not exceed, in form or amount,
the relief allowed by applicable law. The arbitration shall be
conducted according to the American Arbitration Association
(AAA) Commercial Arbitration Rules applicable to consumer
disputes. This arbitration provision is entered pursuant to the
Federal Arbitration Act. The laws of the State of New York,
without reference to its choice of laws principles, shall govern
the interpretation of the Limited Warranty and all disputes
that are subject to this arbitration provision. The arbitrator
shall decide all issues of interpretation and application of
this arbitration provision and the Limited Warranty. This
arbitration provision also applies to claims against Orbic’s
employees, representatives and affiliates if any such claim
arises from the Product’s sale, condition or performance.

La transmisión de datos siempre es iniciada por el software,
que es el transmitido a través del MAC, a través de la
banda de base digital y analógica, y finalmente a la Chip
de RF El MAC inicia varios paquetes especiales. Estos son

¿QUÉ CUBRE LA GARANTÍA?
Orbic le ofrece una garantía limitada al comprador original
por los primeros doce (12) meses a partir de la fecha de
compra y siempre y cuando disponga del comprobante de
compra. Ante la falta de un comprobante de compra válido,
Orbic ofrece una garantía limitada de quince (15) meses
a partir de la fecha de fabricación, la cual figura en la
etiqueta del producto (“Período de garantía”).
En caso de que el Producto, los accesorios de la caja o
cualquier otra parte presente defectos de material o de
mano de obra durante uso y condiciones normales que
ocasionen la falla del Producto, dichos defectos serán
reparados o se sustituirán las partes defectuosas (con partes
nuevas o reparadas) a la entera discreción de Orbic, sin
cargos adicionales por las partes o el trabajo relacionado
directamente con el defecto.
¿QUÉ NO CUBRE LA GARANTÍA?
1. Reclamos de garantía fuera del Período de garantía del
Producto.
2. Daños o defectos ocasionados al Producto debido a un
uso que no es el habitual.
3. Defectos o daños provenientes de un accidente,
uso indebido, uso anormal, condiciones anormales,
almacenamiento inadecuado, modificaciones no
autorizadas, reparaciones no autorizadas, instalación
incorrecta u otras acciones que no pueden atribuírsele
a Orbic.
4. Defectos o daños provenientes del uso excesivo de
fuerza o el uso de un objeto metálico al presionar la
pantalla táctil.
5. Un Producto sin número de serie o con un número de
serie alterado o desgastado.
6. Daños provenientes del uso de accesorios no aprobados
por Orbic.
7. Daños provenientes de la exposición a la humedad,
temperaturas excesivas o condiciones ambientales
extremas.
8. Daños por líquidos provenientes de accesorios,
puertos y/o seguros de la batería de los dispositivos
resistentes al agua que no se han sellado bloqueado
correctamente.
9. Todas las superficies y partes externamente expuestas
que se rayen o dañen debido al uso habitual del
cliente.
10. Todo el software, incluido el sistema operativo, software
de terceros, aplicaciones y cualquier otro software de

11. Daños causados por el desgaste normal del Producto.
12. Abuso del cliente o cualquier otro abuso físico o
maltrato al Producto tal como demuestra:
a. La falta de la carcasa requerida.
b. El LCD o Touch Lens dañado (es decir, el producto
está roto, agrietado, destrozado, descolorido, etc.).
c. El IMEI no puede leerse electrónicamente o falta
el número de serie, IMEI y/o la etiqueta de datos
confiables, o estos han sido alterados en un modo que
afecta la legibilidad.
d. Teclas faltantes en el teclado, lo cual excede el
desgaste normal.
e. Modificaciones no aprobadas del Producto.
f. Daños físicos visibles en la superficie del Producto
debido a que el producto ha sido destrozado,
masticado, perforado, quemado o derretido.
g. Daños por líquidos evidenciados por el
sumergimiento en líquido o cualquier otra prueba de
ingreso de líquido, incluida la corrosión de cualquiera
de las conexiones y residuos excesivos evidentes.
¿CUÁLES SON LOS LÍMITES DE LA
RESPONSABILIDAD DE ORBIC?
LA PRESENTE GARANTÍA LIMITADA ESTABLECE EL
ALCANCE TOTAL DE LAS RESPONSABILIDADES DE
ORBIC Y EL RECURSO EXCLUSIVO EN LO RELATIVO
AL PRODUCTO. TODAS LAS GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS,
INCLUIDAS A MERO TÍTULO ENUNCIATIVO, LAS
GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD O
APTITUD PARA UN FIN DETERMINADO, QUEDAN
RESTRINGIDAS A LA DURACIÓN DE LA PRESENTE
GARANTÍA. BAJO NINGUNA CIRCUNSTANCIA ORBIC
SERÁ RESPONSABLE POR DAÑOS QUE SUPEREN EL
PRECIO DE COMPRA DEL PRODUCTO O POR, ENTRE
OTROS, PÉRDIDA COMERCIAL DE CUALQUIER TIPO;
PÉRDIDA DE USO, TIEMPO, DATOS, REPUTACIÓN,
OPORTUNIDAD, FONDO DE COMERCIO, GANANCIAS
O AHORROS; INCONVENIENTES; DAÑOS
INCIDENTALES, ESPECIALES, CONSECUENTES O
PUNITIVOS QUE SURJAN DEL USO O LA IMPOSIBILIDAD
DE USO DEL PRODUCTO. ALGUNOS ESTADOS Y
JURISDICCIONES NO PERMITEN RESTRICCIONES
EN CUANTO A LA DURACIÓN DE UNA GARANTÍA
LIMITADA O EL DESCARGO DE RESPONSABILIDAD
O RESTRICCIÓN DE LOS DAÑOS INCIDENTALES O
CONSECUENTES, POR LO QUE LAS RESTRICCIONES
Y DESCARGOS DE RESPONSABILIDAD ANTERIORES
PODRÍAN NO SER APLICABLES EN SU CASO.
ORBIC NO OFRECE NINGUNA GARANTÍA NI REALIZA
NINGUNA DECLARACIÓN, EXPRESA O IMPLÍCITA,
ESTATUTARIA O DE OTRO TIPO, EN CUANTO A LA
CALIDAD, CAPACIDADES, FUNCIONAMIENTO,
RENDIMIENTO O APTITUD DE NINGÚN SOFTWARE O
EQUIPO DE UN TERCERO UTILIZADO EN CONJUNTO
CON EL PRODUCTO, O EN CUANTO A LA POSIBILIDAD
DE INTEGRAR DICHO SOFTWARE O EQUIPO AL
PRODUCTO DISTRIBUIDO POR ORBIC O POR OTRO
MEDIO. LA RESPONSABILIDAD POR LA CALIDAD,
CAPACIDADES, FUNCIONAMIENTO, RENDIMIENTO
Y APTITUD DE DICHO SOFTWARE O EQUIPO DE UN
TERCERO PERTENECE ÚNICAMENTE AL USUARIO Y
AL VENDEDOR, DUEÑO O PROVEEDOR DIRECTO DE
DICHO SOFTWARE O EQUIPO DE UN TERCERO.
Ni las instrucciones ni la información del Producto serán
interpretadas como concesión de una garantía expresa
de ningún tipo con respecto al Producto. Ningún agente,
empleado, vendedor, representante o revendedor está
autorizado a modificar o extender esta Garantía limitada
o hacer declaraciones o afirmaciones, ya sea en anuncios,
presentaciones o de cualquier otra forma, en nombre de
Orbic en relación con el Producto o esta Garantía limitada.
La presente Garantía limitada le confiere derechos legales
específicos y podría tener además otros derechos que
varían según el estado.
¿CUÁLES SON LOS PROCEDIMIENTOS PARA RESOLVER
CONTROVERSIAS?
TODA CONTROVERSIA CON ORBIC QUE SURJA DE
ALGÚN MODO DE ESTA GARANTÍA LIMITADA O LA
VENTA, CONDICIÓN O RENDIMIENTO DEL PRODUCTO
SERÁ RESUELTA ÚNICAMENTE A TRAVÉS DE UN
ARBITRAJE VINCULANTE Y DEFINITIVO, Y NO POR UN
TRIBUNAL O JURADO. No se combinará o consolidará
ninguna controversia con otra controversia que involucre los
productos o reclamos de cualquier otra persona o entidad
y, sin perjuicio de lo anterior, bajo ninguna circunstancia se
desarrollará esta controversia como parte de una demanda
colectiva. El arbitraje se llevará a cabo ante un único
árbitro, cuyo laudo arbitral no podrá superar, en su forma o
cantidad, el resarcimiento permitido por las leyes aplicables.
El arbitraje se llevará a cabo de acuerdo con las Reglas
de Arbitraje Comercial de la Asociación Estadounidense
de Arbitraje (American Arbitration Association, AAA)
aplicables a las controversias en materia de consumo. Se
incorpora esta disposición de arbitraje de conformidad con
la Ley Federal de Arbitraje. La interpretación de la Garantía
limitada y todas las controversias sujetas a esta disposición
de arbitraje serán reguladas por las leyes del estado de
New York, sin remisión alguna a sus normas de conflicto.
El árbitro decidirá todas las cuestiones de interpretación y
aplicación de esta disposición de arbitraje y la Garantía
limitada. Esta disposición de arbitraje también se aplica
a demandas que se realicen en contra de los empleados,
representantes y socios de Orbic si el reclamo surgiera de la
venta, condición o rendimiento del Producto.
