Guide
Important Safety Information
Keep the phone ("Product”) away from dust, water, damp
areas, precipitation and humidity. Dust, water, liquids,
precipitation and humidity may cause overheating, electrical
leakage, and/or Product failure. The Product, battery,
charger and AC adapter are not waterproof. Keep them
away from liquid, fuels and chemicals. If the Product gets
wet, do not place the Product in an oven, microwave or
dryer, as this will damage the Product and could cause a
fire or explosion.
Only use the battery and charger approved by the
manufacturer. Using other brands may cause battery
leakage, overheating, explosion or even fire. Do not use the
Product where it might cause danger. Do NOT text and drive.
Battery Use
Handle and store batteries properly to avoid injury or
damage. Most battery issues arise from improper handling
of batteries and, particularly, from the continued use of
damaged batteries.
0 Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, shred, or otherwise
attempt to change the form of your battery.
0 Do not let the phone or battery come in contact with
liquids.
0 Do not place your battery in or near a heat source.
Excessive heating can damage the phone or the battery and
could cause the phone or the battery to explode.

0 Do not allow the battery to touch metal objects.
0 Misuse of or use of incomplete phones, batteries and
charging devices could result in damage to equipment and

injuries, damage to your phone or other serious hazards.

Note: The battery shall only be serviced by the
manufacturer.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an

Cleaning and Maintenance
The Product, the battery and the charger are not waterproof.
Do not use them in places with high humidity like a
bathroom and also avoid spilling any liquids on the Product,
battery or charger. Use a soft cloth to clean the Product, the
battery and the charger. Do not use alcohol, diluted liquid
or benzene to clean the Product.
Disposal of Product and Batteries
Follow local regulations regarding disposal of mobile
devices and batteries. In some areas, the disposal of these
items in household or business trash may be prohibited.
Please follow your local regulations and recycle Product if
required Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.

Hearing Aid Compatibility Information
This phone has been tested and rated for use with hearing
aids for some of the wireless technologies it uses. However,
there may be some newer technologies that have not been
tested yet for use with hearing aids. It is important to try the
different features of this phone thoroughly and in different
locations, using your hearing aid or cochlear implant, to
determine if you hear any interfering noise. Ask your service
provider or the manufacturer of this phone for information on
hearing aid compatibility. When some mobile phones are
used near some hearing devices (hearing aids and cochlear
implants), users may detect a buzzing, humming, or whining
noise. Some hearing devices are more immune than others
to this interference noise and phones also vary in the amount
of interference they generate.

This model phone meets the government’s requirements for
exposure to radio waves.
This phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the
emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy
set by the Federal Communications Commission of the US.

The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs
a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption
Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is I.6W/kg when
the device is positioned against the head/ear. The SAR limit

using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC
with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level
in all tested frequency bands. The SAR guideline includes a
considerable safety margin designed to assure the safety of
all persons regardless of age and health.

model phone with all reported SAR levels evaluated as
in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR

For body worn operation, this phone has been tested
and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines for use with
an accessory that contains no metal and positions the
handset a minimum of I cm from the body. Use of other
enhancements may not ensure compliance with FCC
RF exposure guidelines. If you do not use a body-worn
accessory and are not holding the phone at the ear, position
the handset a minimum of I cm from your body when the
phone is switched on.

This Product complies with Part I5 of the FCC Rules.

turning the Product off and on, the user is encouraged to try

Orbic or the manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or
TV interference caused by unauthorized modifications to the
Product. Such modifications could void the user’s authority to
operate the equipment.
Data transmission is always initiated by software, which is
then passed down through the MAC, through the digital and
analog baseband, and finally to the RF chip. Several special
packets are initiated by the MAC. These are the only ways
the digital baseband portion will turn on the RF transmitter,
which it then turns off at the end of the packet. Therefore, the
transmitter will be on only while one of the aforementioned
packets is being transmitted. In other words, this device
automatically discontinues transmission in case of either
absence of information to transmit or operational failure.
ORBIC LIMITED WARRANTY
WHO THIS WARRANTY COVERS
This I2 month limited warranty extends only to the original
purchaser of this product within the United States. This
warranty is not transferable. This warranty is conditioned
upon the proper use of the Product.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS
Orbic offers you a limited warranty that extends for the first
twelve (I2) month period to the original purchaser from the
date of original purchase with proof of purchase. Without
valid proof of purchase, Orbic offers a limited warranty
extending fifteen (15) months from date of manufacture,
which is coded on the product label (”Warranty Period").
Should the Product, inbox accessories or any part during
normal consumer usage and conditions be proven defective
in material or workmanship that results in Product failure,
such defectls) will be repaired or replaced (with new or
rebuilt parts) at Orbic’s discretion, without charge for parts
or labor directly related to the defect.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
I. Warranty claims outside of the Product warranty Period.
2. Damage or defects caused by using the Product other
than in the normal course.
3. Defects or damages resulting from accidental, misuse,
abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage,
unauthorized modifications, unauthorized repair,
improper installation, or other acts which are not the
fault of Orbic.
4. Defects or damage resulting from excessive force or use
of a metallic object when pressing the touch screen.
Product with altered, defaced or removed serial number.
Damage resulting from use of accessories not approved
by Orbic.
7. Damage from exposure to moisture, humidity, excessive
temperature or extreme environment.
8. Liquid damage due to not properly sealed/locked
accessories, ports and or battery latches of water
resistance devices.
9. All surfaces and externally exposed parts that are
scratched or damaged due to normal customer use.

party software, applications, and all other software of
any kind.
II. Damage caused by ordinary wear and tear of the
Product.
12. Customer abuse or other physical abuse or mistreatment
of Product as evidenced by:
0. Missing required faceplate;
b. Damaged LCD or Touch Lens (e.g., the product is
either broken, cracked, smashed, bleeding, etc.;
c. IMEI is unreadable electronically or due to missing or
altered serial number, IMEI and/or reliance date label
so as to affect readability;
d. Missing keys on keypad beyond normal wear and
tear;
e. Unapproved Product modification;
f. Visible Product surface physical damage resulting in
product being smashed, chewed, gauged, burned or
melted;
9. Liquid damage as evidenced by submission in
liquid or any other evidence of liquid ingress, including

corrosion of any of the connections and noticeable
excessive residue.

menu - >Settings-- > About phone. No special access codes or
permissions are required to go through the above steps
beyond entering a user—defined password to protect against
unauthorized access to device.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SETS OUT THE FULL EXTENT
OF ORBIC’S RESPONSIBILITIES AND THE EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY REGARDING THE PRODUCT. ALL IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED
TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN
NO EVENT SHALL ORBIC BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN
EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT
OR FOR, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COMMERCIAL
LOSS OF ANY SORT; LOSS OF USE, TIME, DATA,
REPUTATION, OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, PROFITS, OR
SAVINGS; INCONVENIENCE; INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING
FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.

LASTS, OR THE DISCLAIMER OR LIMITATION OF

REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY
OR OTHERWISE, AS TO THE QUALITY, CAPABILITIES,
OPERATIONS, PERFORMANCE OR SUITABILITY OF ANY
THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE OR EQUIPMENT USED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PRODUCT, OR THE ABILITY
TO INTEGRATE ANY SUCH SOFTWARE OR EQUIPMENT
WITH THE PRODUCT DISTRIBUTED BY ORBIC OR
OTHERWISE. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE QUALITY,
CAPABILITIES, OPERATIONS, PERFORMANCE AND
SUITABILITY OF ANY SUCH THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
OR EQUIPMENT RESTS SOLELY WITH THE USER AND
THE DIRECT VENDOR, OWNER OR SUPPLIER OF SUCH
THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE OR EQUIPMENT.
Nothing in the Product instructions or information shall
be construed to create an express warranty of any kind
with respect to the Product. No agent, employee, dealer,
representative or reseller is authorized to modify or extend
this Limited Warranty or to make binding representations or
claims, whether in advertising, presentations or otherwise,
on behalf of Orbic regarding the Product or this Limited
Warranty.
This Limited Warrant gives you specific legal rights and you
may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES FOR RESOLVING
DISPUTES?
ALL DISPUTES WITH ORBIC ARISING IN ANY WAY
FROM THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE SALE,
CONDITION OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT
SHALL BE RESOLVED EXCLUSIVELY TH ROUGH FINAL
AND BINDING ARBITRATION, AND NOT BY A COURT
ORJURY. Any such dispute shall not be combined or
consolidated with a dispute involving any other person's or
entity's products or claim and, specifically, without limitation
of the foregoing, shall not under any circumstances proceed
as part of a class action. The arbitration shall be conducted
before a single arbitrator, whose award may not exceed, in
form or amount, the relief allowed by applicable law. The
arbitration shall be conducted according to the American
Arbitration Association (AAA) Commercial Arbitration Rules
applicable to consumer disputes. This arbitration provision
is entered pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act. The laws
of the State of New York, without reference to its choice
of laws principles, shall govern the interpretation of the
Limited Warranty and all disputes that are subject to this
arbitration provision. The arbitrator shall decide all issues of
interpretation and application of this arbitration provision
and the Limited Warranty. This arbitration provision also
applies to claims against Orbic’s employees, representatives
and affiliates if any such claim arises from the Product's sale,
condition or performance.

La tronsmisién de dotos siempre es iniciada por el software,
que es el transmitido a través del MAC, a través de la
bondo de base digital y analogica, y finolmente a la Chip
de RF El MAC inicia varios paquetes especiales. Estos son
los Unicos formos en que lo parte de bondo de bondo
digital encendera el transmisor de RF, que luego se apaga
al final del paquete. Por lo tonto, el transmisor estora

Orbic le ofrece una garantia limitada ol comprador original
por los primeros doce (l2) meses a partir de la fecha de
compra y siempre y cuando disponga del comprobonte de
compra. Ante la falta de un comprobonte de compra valido,
Orbic ofrece uno garantia limitoda de quince (l5) meses
a partir de la fecha de fabricacio’n, la cual figura en la
etiqueta del producto (”Periodo de garantia”).
En caso de que el Producto, los accesorios de la coio o
cualquier otro parte presente defectos de material 0 de
mono de obra durante uso y condiciones normales que
ocasionen la falla del Producto, dichos defectos seran
reporados 0 se sustituiran las portes defectuosas (con portes
nuevas o reporados) a la entera discrecion de Orbic, sin
corgos adicionoles por los portes 0 el trabaio relocionado
directamente con el defecto.
aQUE NO CUBRE LA GARANTLA?
I. Reclamos de garantia fuera del Periodo de garantia del
Producto.
2. Dafios o defectos ocasionados al Producto debido a un
uso que no es el habitual.
3. Defectos o dofios provenientes de un occidente,
uso indebido, uso anormal, condiciones anormoles,
almacenamiento inadecuado, modificaciones no
autorizadas, reparaciones no autorizadas, instalacion
incorrecta u otras occiones que no pueden atribuirsele
a Orbic.
4. Defectos o dafios provenientes del uso excesivo de
fuerza 0 el uso de un obieto metalico al presionar la
pantalla tactil.
5. Un Producto sin nUmero de serie 0 con un numero de
serie alterado o desgastado.
6. Dafios provenientes del uso de accesorios no aprobados
por Orbic.
7. Dafios provenientes de lo exposicion a la humedad,
temperaturos excesivos o condiciones ambientoles

H. Dafios cousados por el desgaste normal del Producto.
I2. Abuso del cliente o cualquier otro abuso fisico o
moltrato al Producto tal como demuestra:
a. La falta de la carcasa requerida.
b. El LCD 0 Touch Lens dafiado (es decir, el producto
esta roto, agrietodo, destrozodo, descolorido, etc).
c. El lMEl no puede leerse electrénicamente o falta
el nUmero de serie, IMEI y/o lo etiqueta de dotos
confiables, o estos han sido alterados en un modo que
ofecta la legibilidod.
d. Teclas faltantes en el teclodo, lo cual excede el
desgaste normal.
e. Modificaciones no aprobados del Producto.
f. Dafios fisicos visibles en la superficie del Producto
debido a que el producto ha sido destrozodo,
mosticodo, perforado, quemado o derretido.
g. Dafios por liquidos evidenciados por el
sumergimiento en liquido o cualquier otra prueba de
ingreso de liquido, incluido la corrosion de cualquiera
de las conexiones y residuos excesivos evidentes.

LA PRESENTE GARANTlA LIMITADA ESTABLECE EL
ALCANCE TOTAL DE LAS RESPONSABILIDADES DE
ORBIC Y EL RECURSO EXCLUSIVO EN LO RELATIVO
AL PRODUCTO. TODAS LAS GARANTlAS IMPLlCITAS,
INCLUIDAS A MERO TlTULO ENUNCIATIVO, LAS
GARANTLAS IMPLlCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD O
APTITUD PARA UN FIN DETERMINADO, QUEDAN
RESTRINGIDAS A LA DURACION DE LA PRESENTE
GARANTfA. BAJO NINGUNA CIRCUNSTANCIA ORBIC
SERA RESPONSABLE POR DANOS QUE SUPEREN EL

CON EL PRODUCTO, 0 EN CUANTO A LA POSIBILIDAD
DE INTEGRAR DICHO SOFTWARE O EQUIPO AL
PRODUCTO DISTRIBUIDO POR ORBIC O POR OTRO
MEDIO. LA RESPONSABILIDAD POR LA CALIDAD,
CAPACIDADES, FUNCIONAMIENTO, RENDIMIENTO
Y APTITUD DE DICHO SOFTWARE O EQUIPO DE UN
TERCERO PERTENECE UNICAMENTE AL USUARIO Y
AL VENDEDOR, DUENO O PROVEEDOR DIRECTO DE
DICHO SOFTWARE O EQUIPO DE UN TERCERO.
Ni las instrucciones ni lo informocion del Producto seran
interpretadas como concesién de una garantia expresa
de ningtin tipo con respecto al Producto. NingUn agente,
empleado, vendedor, representante o revendedor esta
autorizado a modificar o extender esta Garantia limitada
o hocer declaraciones o afirmociones, ya sea en anuncios,
presentaciones a de cuolquier otro forma, en nombre de
Orbic en relacién con el Producto o esta Garantia limitada.
La presente Garantl’a limitada le confiere derechos legales
especificos y podria tener ademas otros derechos que
varian segL’Jn el estodo.
3CUALES SON LOS PROCEDIMIENTOS PARA RESOLVER
CONTROVERSIAS?
TODA CONTROVERSIA CON ORBIC QUE SURlA DE
ALGL'JN MODO DE ESTA GARANTLA LIMITADA OLA
VENTA, CONDICION O RENDIMIENTO DEL PRODUCTO
SERA RESUELTA UNICAMENTE A TRAVES DE UN
ARBITRAJE VlNCULANTE Y DEFlNlTlVO, Y NO POR UN
TRIBUNAL OJURADO. No se combinara o consolidara
ninguna controversia con otro controversia que involucre los
productos o reclamos de cualquier otro persona o entidad
y, sin periuicio de lo anterior, baio ninguna circunstancia se
desarrollara esta controversia como parte de una demondo
colectiva. El orbitraie se llevora a cabo ante un Unico
arbitro, cuyo laudo arbitral no podra superar, en su forma o
contidod, el resarcimiento permitido por las leyes oplicables.
El arbitroie se llevora a cabo de acuerdo con las Reglas
de Arbitroie Comercial de la Asociocion Estadounidense
de Arbitraie (American Arbitration Association, AAA)
aplicables a las controversias en materia de consumo. Se
incorpora esta disposicion de orbitraie de conformidad con
la Ley Federal de Arbitraie. La interpretacion de la Gorantio
limitada y todos los controversias suietas a esta disposicién
de arbitraie seran reguladas por las leyes del estado de
New York, sin remisién alguna a sus normas de conflicto.
El arbitro decidira todos los cuestiones de interpretacion y
aplicacio’n de esta disposicion de arbitraie y la Garantia
limitada. Esta disposicio’n de arbitroie también se aplica
a demandas que se realicen en contra de los empleados,
representantes y socios de Orbic si el reclamo surgiera de la
