1 - TRANSMITTER INTRODUCTION RCS-433MDT2 1A - General Information R L SE A U NU • The radio control, RCS-433MDT2 has been designed for the control of automatic closing systems and anti-burglar systems. The operating frequency is 433,92 MHz. • The receiver can be used to control automatic gates, rolling shutters, awnings, anti-burglar appliances, lighting etc. • The transmitter security code is obtained by means of a 9 way three-state dip-switch, which allows up to 19683 codes combinations. All the receivers can store up to 50 different dip-switch code combinations. • Each transmitter (or its different keys) can be stored into different receivers and hence can do more functions. • In order to use the unused keys of the transmitter connect the dedicated receiver to the mechanism to drive (i.e. electro lock of a pedestrian gate, a buzzer, etc. ). • The product fully complies with Part 15 of FCC Regulations. 1B - Technical specifications Number of keys: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .2 Battery duration: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .12 - 24 months Thank you for choosing a RCS transmitter. Place the 23A alkaline battery between the 2 contacts. Respect the right polarity as indicated on the bottom of the box. NOTE: Please dispose of the batteries correctly, they are hazardous waste. Dip-Switch Battery Door Battery 5 - TROUBLESHOOTING FAULT SOLUTION The radio signal is not verifiable Replace the transmitter battery The transmitter led doesn't switch on Replace the transmitter battery The radio signal is not verifiable Check the power supply of the receiver The transmitter led switches on Replace the transmitter battery 2 - CODING Slide open the door to access to the battery and the dip-switches. The dip-position will give the security code. Warning: Each transmitter is set-in-factory with the same code on the dip-switches; it highly advisable to change this code by moving the dip-switches to any random position ( “+”, “0” , “-”). 3 - MEMORIZATION Each dip-switch setting code has to be stored into the receiver memory. The memorization can be done by self-learning. The instructions for this operation is given on the receiver installation manual. Your own installer will perform this operation during the installation or will give you the necessary explanation during installation. During this period, if the product does not work correctly, due to a defective component, the product will be repaired or substituted at the discretion of RCS.
