Wireless DWS Transmitter
User and Installation Instructions
Introduction
The RE101 Wireless DWS Transmitter is a wireless door/window sensor (DWS) for security system
applications. Typical use of this device is for protection of doors and windows against intrusion.
The transmitter is activated by one of four inputs:

Reed Switch (activated by companion magnet)
Built-in Tamper Switch

External 2
The RE101 uses a common lithium CR123 battery, designed to provide long battery life.
Transmitter Programming
Each RE101 Wireless DWS Transmitter is shipped with a unique serial number pre-programmed into
the transmitter. Upon installation, the RE101 must be programmed into the security control panel.
The control panel's documentation should be consulted for full instructions.
External Contacts
External contacts allow the connection of two normally-closed, unsupervised contacts to the outer
terminals of the terminal block. Common wire for both contacts is connected to the middle terminal.
