Key Instructions
Requires either Resolution RE920 or RE922 Alarm Communicator Cards, which
send wireless alarm signal.
Engage Battery by removing pink isolator tab.
Battery “+” faces to right, away from tamper spring.
Mode 1: Panel supervises Siren & Siren supervises Panel
Set switches
Press ENROLL switch on Simon Communicator board.
Put Panel in Enroll Mode.
Press & Release Siren Tamper to enroll Siren in Panel.
Alternate Mode 2: Panel supervises Siren & Siren DOES NOT supervise Panel
Set switches
Put Panel in Enroll Mode.
Press & Release Siren Tamper to enroll Siren in Panel.
Put Siren switches in RUN Mode:

Operation
Alarm
Siren follows panel alarm pattern.
Supervision
Siren sends supervisory signals to panel IF:
Siren has AC power.
AND (if siren is set to supervise panel…)
Siren has heard signal from panel in previous 60 minutes.
Tamper
When battery cover is opened.
