RE124GH Honeywell-to-GE Wireless Translator
Features
•Listens to Honeywell protocol wireless devices.
•Transmits GE protocol wireless.
•Enrolls up to 64 devices.
•Unique wireless ID (or loop) for each zone, plus 1 for main device.
•All alarm, supervisory and trouble signals are passed through.
•Dual antennas for both Receive and Transmit diversity for reliable range.
•Back-up battery operation.
•Complete supervision of tampers, external power supply fault and low
battery.
Key Instructions
•External supply: 9-18V AC or DC at least 50 mA.
•3 AAA Alkaline batteries are for backup in case of external supply
failure.
•Enrolling:
Sensors
•Press Enroll switch until Device type LED matches
•Activate particular sensor
•Translator beeps and flashes red.
Main device enrolled by tamper switch on the board.
Operation
•Existing Honeywell protocol sensors transmit as usual. Translator passes
information on to control panel as if they were GE transmitters.
•Translator Main Zone wireless transmission ( unique ID):
Tamper, when cover opened.
Low battery, when either low AAA batteries, OR loss of AC.
Supervisory every hour.
•LED Operation
Green LED: On if AC power present.
Red LED: On if device tamper or device low battery

GE Device Type: 10 (Translator device ID).
Backup batteries: Three AAA Alkaline.
External supply: 9-18V AC or DC, at least 50mA.
Current draw with supply: 4mA, normal operation.
AC Fail Conditions: AC gone for 15 minutes. Restores on AC restore.
Device Low Battery Conditions: Low battery for 1 minute. Restores on
device tamper, AC restore.
Back-up Battery Life on AC Fail: 72 hours.
