Key Instructions
• Battery “+” faces towards white “+” on circuit board.
• Install batteries: rear batt – tail in first, front battery – nose in first.
• Board goes in and out of housing without batteries (not with).
• Reed switch is at the top of the housing, near the push button hole.
• Reed switch = Loop 2
• (Inserting battery will send a Loop 4 Tamper, but Sensor does not
actually have a tamper)
• Enrolling:
 Place Panel in RF Learning mode.
 Input Type = RF
 Lynx *56 “E I” mode:
To enroll any particular loop: cause the loop to fault…
restore… (panel should beep to indicate ID capture)…
fault… restore… [panel will confirm enrollment].
 Vista *56 “10 INPUT S/N: L” mode:
Transmit two open/close sequences (using magnet).
Press * (to check for duplicate serial/loop number).
Press * (to continue to confirmation screen).
Press * if you wish to skip confirmation; or “Yes” and
activate the loop to confirm.
