Motion Sensor
1. Connect your
Motion Sensor.
Set up your
Ring Beams Bridge.
The Bridge connects your
Ring Beams lights to the
rest of your Ring system.
Download the Ring app.
The app walks you
through setting up and
managing your Spotlight.
Your Bridge must be
up and running before
you set up your Motion
Sensor.
Search for “Ring” in one of
these app stores, or visit:
ring.com/app
Download from
Windows Store
To set up your
Bridge, follow
the instructions
in the Ring app
or user manual.
Insert the batteries.
Set up your Motion
Sensor in the Ring app.
In the app, tap
Set Up a Device.
Pull the tabs
on the back
outward
until you can
remove the
front of your
Motion Sensor.
Insert three
AAA batteries.
When prompted, select
Beams and follow the inapp instructions.
Once setup
is complete,
you can
reattach
the front of
your Motion
Sensor.
Doorbells
Security Cams
Chimes
Beams
Alarm
1. Install your
Motion Sensor.
Hold the base
against the
surface and
drive the two
mounting
screws.
Slide the base
down and remove
it from your
Motion Sensor.
Use the base as
a template to
mark the screw
locations.
Slide your
Motion Sensor
back onto its
base.
Your Motion Sensor detects motion
best when mounted 4-6 feet above
the ground.
