The connector jacks are located on the rear panel of the piano.

1. Using USB-Midi
This product allows the transfer of MIDI information over USB to a computer. As
complicated this might sound, it's actually pretty straight forward Because your A-10
is USB Class Compliant, there is no need to install a driver to enable it to work with
computer running OSX, Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. Simply just plug it in and
the OS will do the rest. The A-lO will work with all standard MIDI based computer
software.
2. Midi In/Out
The Piano provides MIDI IN and MIDI OUT ports. MIDI jacks allow communication
with other products equipped with MIDI interfaces.
3. Line In/Out
The audio output from other sound system connected to the LINE IN jack on the bottom
panel can be mixed with the sound of the unit This function is convenient when you
want to play along with a favourite song. The Line out jack can be used to deliver
the output of the piano to a keyboard amplifier, stereo sound system, mixing console
or tape recorder.

6.Pedal
Sustain Pedal
This digital piano can be used with the Sustain Pedal. It will cause piano key sounds
to decay slowly as if they were being held down. Apiano-style pedal may optionally
be used The jack will auto-detect the polarity of the sustain pedal.

Ensure the piano is turned off before connecting the pedaL Otherwise, it will
affect the piano sound.
As standard, the pedal will affect the note playing after pressed. To change
polarity, hold the foot pedal down during power up.

Tum the power on by pressing the [POWER] switch, the panel LCD display will light‘

2. Adjust The Volume
Use [MASTER VOLUME] control to adjust the volume to your desired level‘
3. Adjusting The Sound
Use [TONE] control to adjust the sound of the piano,
4. Demo Play
The piano comes pre-progrannncd with a selection of sixteen demo songsl Each of the
demo songs is designed to demonstrate one of the instrument voices built into the
piano
To Start Demo Song Playback
Press the [DEMO] button to enter Demo Mode. The display will show DEMO, and
the Voice Select buttons will flash

Press one of the Voice Select buttons to select a demo song‘ The selected demo will
play, and the corresponding Voice Select button will flash If the Variation button is
not lit, you will hear the Bank A voices (the top row ofvoices including Grand Piano,
E, Piano 1, Vibes, etc.).

Ifyou want to hear demo songs featuring the Bank B voices (the bottom row ofvoices
including Bright Piano, ElPiano 2, FM EP, etcl), press the Variation button It will light
up‘While in Demo Mode, as long as the Variation button is lit, pressing a Voice Select
button will cause the demo song featuring that button's Bank B voice to play.

When the selected demo song has finished playing, the next demo song
will play (following the order of the Voice Select buttons from left to right),
and its corresponding Voice Select button will flash.
When the last demo song ofBunkA has/inished playing, thefirst demo
song of Bank B will begin. When the final demo song of Bank B ends, the
first demo song of BankA will begin again. The Main voice will sychronous
change when demo changes.
Pressing the [DEMO] button at any point will stop playback and return A-lO to
Performance Mode, allowing you to play the piano normally again‘
5. LCD Display
The LCD will display the appropriate status, functionyalue, voice or the current mode
of operation,
6. [SETUP] Button
The SETUP button transfers the piano to Edit mode, enabling the modification of
the parameters of many features such as touch sensitivity, splits, layers and MIDI
control, among others,

VOICE & FUNCTION
1. Selecting A Voice
Your instrument has 16 built-in voices, which include several pianos as well as other
instruments. These digitally-sampled musical instrument sounds may be selected one
at a time.

To select a voice, press the appropriate Voice Select button on the right side of the
front panel.
NOTE
NOTE: When [VARIATION] button is unlighted, you can press the
appropriate button to select the voice in the first line.
When I VARIA TION] button is lighted, you can press the appropriate
button to select the voice in the second line.

2. Layer Mode
In Layer mode two voices may be played simultaneously, each at selected volumes,
To enter Layer mode, press [LAYER] button and the LED is flashing, then press the
voice button to select the second voice.

3. Split Mode
Split Mode allows the keyboard to be divided into two sections so that different voices
may be played with the left and right hands.
The volume may be independently adjusted for each voice, the Split Point (the highest

note played with the left hand) may be adjusted and the Split Voice may be changed
as desired.

Press the [SPLIT] button , The indicator is flashing‘The Split (left hand) voice will be
Upright Bass and the Split Point will be G2.

[+ / YES] / [- / NO] button to select the split voice.

Change the Split Point
Press the [SPLIT] button The LCD will momentarily display off , then hold down the
[SPLIT] button and press the appropriate piano key or use [+ / YES] / [- / NO] button
to Change the Split Point.

Exit the Split Mode
Press [SPLIT] again, the Split indicator turns off and the Split mode is no longer active
4. Duet
Press the [DUET] button to select DUET mode. In this mode, the keyboard will be
separated into two playing areas.
Right: from C#3 to C7
Left: from A-l to C3
This will be very helpful when the instrument is used by two players at the same time
and they will be able to play the same piano sound in the same octave.

Press [DUET] button again to exit the Twin mode.
While the DUET feature is selected using the optional 2 lever pedal, the pedals
automatically switch in a different configuration where there are 2 Sustain pedals, one
for the left and one for the right part of the keyboard.
5. Reverb
The [REVERB] button selects a number of digital reverb effects that you can use for
extra depth and expressive power, Press [REVERB] button to turn off or turn on the
reverb effect. When REVERE is turned on, press [REVERB] button 2 seconds, use
[+ / YES] / [- / NO] button to select reverb level,

0r press [SETUP] button to select reverb type and level. Please see pages 13 and 14.
6. Effects
Shimmering, broadening effect. Press [EFFECTS] button to turn off or turn on the
CHORUS effect.
When EFFECTS is turned on, press [EFFECTS] button 2 seconds, use[+ / YES] /
[- / NO] button to select CHORUS level.

7. Metronome
Metronome is a convenient feature for practice, and it can also provide a solid
rhythmic guide when recording.
Press [METRONOME] button can turn off or tum on the Metronome effect When
Metronome is turned on,press [METRONOME] button 2 seconds, use [+ / YES] /
[- / NO]button to select Metronome volume (0-127) .

8. Tempo
This function allows you to set the tempo by [TEMPO] button,
Press [TEMPO] button to turn off or turn on the TEMPO effect
Press [TEMPO] button, the indicator is lit, use [+ / YES] / [- / NO] button to change
the tempo value range from 20 to 280 BPM (beats per minute)

Press [SETUP] button to enter the function menu, Use [SETUP] button or [-/NO]
button to select the function ‘ Press [+/Y ES] button into the option, use [+/Y ES] / [-/NO]
button to set the parameters
The option and the parameters are as the follows:
1. Reverb Type
Press [SETUP] button to enter the function menu, Use [SETUP] button or [-/NO] button
to select [R,TYPE'?], Press [+/Y ES] button into the option,the LCD will display:

Press [SETUP] button to enter the function menu. Use [SETUP] button or [-/NO]
button to select [C.TYPE?]. Press [+/Y ES] buttoninto the option,the LCD will display:

The LCD will indicate these parameters as shown below:

button to select [RLEVEL‘I]. Press [+/YES] button into the option, the LCD will
display:R.LEVEL: 72‘

Press [+/Y ES] & [-/NO] buttons simultaneously to restore the default value.

4. Chorus Level
Press [SETUP] button to enter the function menu, Use [SETUP] button or [-/NO]
button to select [CLEVEL‘I]. Press [+/YES] button into the option, the LCD will
display: CLEVEL: 64‘

Then use [+/YES] / [-/NO] button to adjust the CHORUS level, Range: 00-127
(Default: 64).
5. Main Volume
Press [SETUP] button to enter the filnction menu, Use [SETUP] button or [-/NO]
button to select [MAINVOL‘P] Press [+/YES] button into the option, the LCD will
display: MAINVOL: 127.

Then use [+/Y ES] / [-/N0]button to adjust the MAINVOL Range: 00-127
(Default: 127).
Press [+/YES] & [-/NO] buttons simultaneously to restore the default value.
6. Split Volume
Press [SETUP] button to enter the function menu. Use [SETUP] button or [-/NO]
button to select [SPLITVOL?]. Press [+/Y ES] button into the option,the LCD will
display: SPLlTVOL: 127,

Then use [+/YES] / [-/NO] button to adjust the SPLITVOL Range: 00-127:
(Default: 127).
Press [+/YES] & [-/NO] buttons simultaneously to restore the default value,
7. Layer Volume
Press [SETUP] button to enter the function menu, Use [SETUP] button or [-/NO]
button to select [.LAYERVOL‘2]. Press [+/Y ES ]button into the option,the LCD
will display: LAYERVOL: 100,
Then use [+/YES] / [-/NO]button to adjust the LAYERVOL Range: 00-127.
(Default: 100).
Press [+/Y ES] & [-/NO] buttons simultaneously to restore the default value.
8. Load Memory
Press [SETUP] button to enter the function menu, Use [SETUP] button or [-/NO]
button to select [LOADMEM'?]. Press [+/YES] button into the option, the LCD will
displayzLOADMEM: 1?: Then press [SETUP] button to adjust the load memory
Rangezl7~87 (Default: 1?). Use [+/YES] button to confirm LOADMEM: lDONE.
