1 Model: RW132KL1P; RW132KL2P EN Installation Instructions EN 1 General Description The Wireless 2-Way Slim Keypad empowered with a proximity reader comes in two models: RW132KL1PUSA — a black protection-insulated outdoor model RW132KL2PUSA — a white indoor model The keypad operates in either of two modes: • Full function Mode: Wireless LED operating keypad • Bypass unit Mode: Used to activate an entry countdown period Being bi-directional the 2-Way keypad receives a reply status indication from the panel for each command that it has sent to the panel. To use functions of the keypad you can use a proximity tag or a code. 2 Activating the Batteries Remove the batteries red strip to activate the batteries. 3 Quick Device Allocation at the Control Panel The Keypad is automatically programmed to your control panel during the on-line installation wizard setup. If you later purchase an extra keypad you can enroll it as follows: To quickly allocate a keypad at the control panel: If the control panel is not already in Learn mode, press the button on the control panel for 5 seconds; the unit beeps once as it enters Learn mode (all the LEDs also light up, one after the other). Make sure batteries are installed in each keypad before allocating them. Send a signal transmission from the keypad by pressing and simultaneously for at least 2 seconds; the control panel beeps once to accept or beeps three times to reject. Once accepted, the system announces the device type and its zone (for example, “Keypad, zone 1”). When the keypads have been enrolled, short-press the control panel button to exit Learn mode; the unit beeps once and the LEDs stop flashing. Note: For future use, it is recommended to write down the keypad description, zone number, and installation location of each allocated keypad. 4 Buzzer and LED Indications Buzzer Indications: Duration Operation Long beep Confirmation 3 short beeps Wrong code Pulsed beeps Exit/enty beeps (programmable) Short beep Each key press LED Indciations: Color State Status Blue Blink During communcation with the panel Red On Slow flash Rapid flash System fully or partially armed During Exit dealy During alarm Green Blink Trouble indication in the system while the system is unset Green/Red toggle Toggle Waiting for code to be entered 5 Using the Proxmity Tag The proximity tag, is correctly used by applying it within a 2 cm distance from the key as shown in the illustration (after waking the keypad by pressing the appropriate key). 6 Common Operations Operation Quick High security mode1 Set (Away Arm) Press Press 2 Part Set (Stay Arm) 3 Press Press 2 Unset (Disarm) 1. Press > Code or 2. Proximity tag (after wakeup) Notes: 1. Consult your installer for the operations defined with a code. 2. The proximity tag can be used instead of code. 3.
