The Eyes-Outdoor Camera does not contain any user replaceable parts. If the Eyes-Outdoor Camera stops working please contact customer service via telephone 00800 843 762 78. Please adhere to manual instructions on intended use. Please only use the power supply which was delivered with the Eyes-Outdoor Camera. Please do not paint the Eyes-Outdoor Camera. Recommended replacement of Eyes-Outdoor Camera after 10 years. Caution, risk of electric shock The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualiied person. This product must only be installed by people legally qualiied to install 230 V devices. The table above indicates if the Wi-i connection strength is suicient for use in combination with the EyesOutdoor Camera. 21 5792_Outdoor_Kamera_160818.indd 21 19.08.16 10:46 5.3 Install the wall mounting plate The Eyes-Outdoor Camera needs 230 VAC power supply (with live, neutral and ground connections). Before you start the installation please ensure the power is switched of at the main power switch. The Eyes-Outdoor Camera must be installed vertically at a wall between 1.5 and 2.5 meter height above ground. The Eyes-Outdoor Camera must be installed with the camera at the bottom. 22 5792_Outdoor_Kamera_160818.indd 22 19.08.16 10:46 Position the wall mount in the desired location, pull the cable through the cable entry and mark the two screws on the wall through the screw holes. 23 5792_Outdoor_Kamera_160818.indd 23 19.08.16 10:46 Remove the mounting plate and drill the holes for the plugs. When the camera is switched on it will boot automatically, indicated by a red light ring at the top of the front light. When the camera is ready to connect to the Wi-i the light ring blinks green. 27 5792_Outdoor_Kamera_160818.indd 27 19.08.16 10:46 6.0 INSTALLATION AND INITIAL CONFIGURATION Before you start Please irst download the Bosch Smart Cameras App. You need the app to install and conigure the Eyes-Outdoor Camera. Make sure you have a Wi-Fi internet connection available and the password to hand. Make sure your smart phone is connected to the same Wi-i network you want to use for the camera. For Android Devices ▶ Open Google Play ▶ Search for “Bosch Smart Home” ▶ Select the “Bosch Smart Cameras App” ▶ Tap “Install” Für Apple iOS-Geräte ▶ Open the App Store ▶ Search for “Bosch Smart Home” ▶ Select the “Bosch Smart Cameras App” ▶ Tap “Install” 28 5792_Outdoor_Kamera_160818.indd 28 19.08.16 10:46 6.1 Start Cameras App To conigure the Eyes-Outdoor Camera you need to make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-i network you want to connect the device to. Start the Bosch Smart Cameras App and login with your Bosch account or register. 29 5792_Outdoor_Kamera_160818.indd 29 19.08.16 10:46 6.2 Configuration of the Eyes-Outdoor Camera In the Bosch Smart Cameras App overview screen, select “Add Camera”. Follow the steps indicated in the app and enter the Wi-i-password of the network you want to connect your camera. The app will now generate a QR code. Please show this QR code to the Eyes-Outdoor Camera from about a half arm’s length away. 30 5792_Outdoor_Kamera_160818.indd 30 19.08.16 10:46 Green Red 3 sec. 20 sec. Blue When the Eyes-Outdoor Camera recognized the QR code, you will hear a beep and the light ring turns green for about 3 seconds. The camera will automatically reboot, indicated by the light ring being red. It will then automatically connect to the Wi-i and cloud services. Once the connection and coniguration is completed the light ring turns blue. The camera is now ready for use.
