DC Power Cord Accessory Ordering

Information

To order a replacement DC power cord accessory for the

SmartZone 300 controller, contact Ruckus Wireless Support.

For information on how to contact Ruckus Wireless Support,

visit https://support.ruckuswireless.com/contact-us. When

asked for the part number, provide the information in the

following table.

Assembling and Connecting the DC Power

Cord

Use the DC power cord accessory to supply power to the

controller from a DC power source.

NOTE: For information on the power consumption of the

DC power supply, refer to the data sheet.

Follow these steps to assemble and connect the DC power

cord.

1. Remove the DC power cord assembly from its packaging.

2. Using the following wire label table as reference, connect

the wires to the power supply.

Wire Color Connection

Black -48V

Red RTN

Green/Yellow GRND

3. Power off the power supply source.

4. Connect the DC power cord assembly to the power

source.

5. Connect the other end of the DC power cord to the keyed

connector mating half on the controller's power supply.

6. Power on the DC power source.

7. Verify that the OK LED on the PSU shows a solid green. A

solid green OK LED indicates that the connection was

successful and the system is ready to be powered on.

You have completed assembling and connecting the DC

power cord assembly to a controller and a DC power source.
