2-Channel Operation (Software Option)
This function allows a second channel to be used. The
Channel Select Switch is located on the bottom of the
pager. All standard and optional features are available
on both channels.
Priority Scan (Software Option)
This feature provides a priority type scan function. The
setting (1 or 2) of the Channel Select Switch indicates
the priority channel. The scan function operates in either
Monitor mode for monitor scanning or Select mode for
silent scanning. The priority sampling rate is set during
programming.
Note : Same Frequency Scan can not be achieved in the
Monitor mode. If Ch. 1 and Ch. 2 are programmed with
the same frequencies, then the pager must be operated
in the Select mode to continue to scan.
Automatic Reset (Software Option)
This function automatically resets the pager to Select
mode. The reset function can be set during programming
to activate after a specified period of time or at the end of
the voice message.
Low Battery Alarm (Software Option)
This function emits a constant alert tone when the battery
voltage has dropped to a level insufficient for reliable
operation. The NiCd battery should be recharged or a
new Alkaline battery should be inserted.
Vibrate Alert
In Vibrate Alert mode, the pager vibrates when a call is
received, instead of emitting an alert tone and voice
message. Operation is same as for Mute”.
Voice Storage (Hardware Option)
This option stores up to 20 seconds of the last message
received.
ACTIVATION: Move the Slide Switch to the M” position.
RECORD: Recording is activated when an alert page is
received. A recorded message is stored until the next
alert page or the pager is turned off.
PLAYBACK: Press the Slide Switch inward to playback
the stored message.
SAVE: Move the Slide Switch to the N” position to save
the current message. This also stops the voice recording
action.
REPLAY: Move the Slide Switch to the M” position and
press it momentarily to replay the saved message.
Vibrate Alert and Voice Storage Combined
These combined options will operate in the same way
as those outlined in respective instructions. The only
exception is the Vibrator run time, it will be the same as
the programmed Voice Storage record time.
Fixed Alert (Hardware Option)
This function sets the alert tone volume at the maximum
level, regardless of the audio volume ( ”) setting.
Earphone
Connect the earphone to the jack located on the top of
the pager. The internal speaker will be disconnected.
