How to pair with base station First, Check the connection between the headset with base station, then switch the power 'on'. take out the headset of the base station, then switch the power 'on'. Press 2 volume control buttons of the base station at the same time for more than 1 second. •It becomes waiting status for pairing with a melody, and blue LED of the headset flashes every 1 second. •Please consult with the user manual of the handset(refer to the P.11). •During the procesure, pincode(or passcode)will be demanded. Then, enter '0000'. •When the registration is completed, blue LED of the headset flashes every 4~5 seconds with a melody. If it flashes every 1 second, please try from the beginning again(from article 1). •It becomes waiting status for pairing, and blue LED of the headset flashes every 1 second. When the headset is connected to the base station, charging works automatically. From the handset, search for and register the ViaSync. •Please consult with the user manual of the handset(refer to the P.11). •During the procesure, pincode(or passcode)will be demanded. Then, enter '0000'. •When the registration is completed, blue LED of the headset flashes every 4~5 seconds with a melody. Connection Composition First, How to pair with base station IAllowed for pairing with 3 handsets to the maximumI •With ViaSync 3 bluetooth mobile phones can be paired. •With fully paired 3 phones already, when you make pairing with the 4th handset, precedently paired handset will be deleted and 4th handset will be registered. •Priority over the latest paired handset. •When you want to change the priority over the handset, try to connect from the handset. •If the latest paired handset supports handsfree profile and you turn on the ViaSync, it connects automatically. 11 12 Pairing with PSTN adapter - Optional Pairing with PC using Bluetooth USB dongle You can make pairing through the base station or headset. You can install the Bluetooth USB dongle into your PC and connect it with ViaSync. First, First, Check the connection between the headset with base station, then switch the power 'on'. Once you make pairing with ViaSync, you don't have to make pairing again with the paired unit. Connection Composition How to use MSN messenger with ViaSync 14 Pairing with PC using Bluetooth USB dongle Checking the handset's spec. Mount the headset on the base station, then turn the power on. Press SEND in the base station. •Last number calling can be made. •As per handset, if you get the latest calling numbers press SEND once more. •Voice dialing can be made in case of SonyEricsson handset. Usage •Press SEND/END in the headset. •Press END. Press volume control button. 6 levels in volume. You can make/answer a call through the remote controller. Turn on the headset and wear it on your ear. Press SEND/END in the headset. •Press short, last number calling can be made. Dial the number using the remote controller. Ending a call •Press END in the remote controller. 21 22 Making a call For the handset supporting handsfree profile Transferring audio during talking When you make/end a call through the ViaSync, check first if the handset & PSTN adapter connected with ViaSync(refer to P.9~11). For an incoming call, blue LED flashes with a ringing. Audio can be transferred from the ViaSync to the handset during talking, and the reverse available as well. Answering a call through the base station When ringing, press SEND in the base station. •Conference calling can be made through the speaker. Usage Dial the ext. no. through the remote controller during talking. 23 24 Transferring audio during talking Audio conversation through the MSN messenger Audio can be transferred from the ViaSync to the handset during talking, and the reverse available as well. First, check if PC connecting USB dongle is connected with ViaSync(refer to P.13~15). •Conversation can be continued without cutting. Open the MSN messenger and select the Tools, then click the 'Audio Tuning Wizard'. Select 'Bluetooth Audio' for both Mic.& Speaker settings. Click 'Next'. Select the person for Audio conversation. For the handset supporting handsfree profile Handset Headset : Press SEND/END in the headset for more than 1 second during talking. Headset Handset : Refer to the handset manual and operate it from each handset. •Conversation can be continued without cutting. 25 Adjust the Mic.& Speaker volume in the subsequent step, then cleck 'Finish'. Open the Outlook Express, then select 'Tools'. And click the 'Address book'. Select the person to make a phone call from the address book. Click the right button of the mouse, click 'make a phone call'. if your handset supports handsfree profile. 4 In order to make a call through the remote controller the handset must supports handsfree profile.
