Introduction The VSH-511 Bluetooth Headset is a lightweight wireless Headset utilizing Bluetooth technology. This product can be used as an audio accessory for devices supporting either the Headset or Handsfree Bluetooth Profiles.  Bluetooth® is a trademark owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and is used by the manufacturer under its license term.    All brand names are the property of their respective owners. 1. How to Use  Wearing the Headset You can put on the VSH-511 either on your left or right ear. To change ear, pull the ear hook down to the other side and turn it over the ear speaker. And, extend the ear hook then slip it over the top of your ear, manoeuvre the speaker gently into your ear, make fit the headset until it is held securely on your ear.  Charging Before using your VSH-511, you need to charge it fully by plugging the charger into the DC jack outlet. Charge the Headset for approximately 2 hours until the indicator lights go out.  Tip) Low Battery Warning Recharge the headset when you hear a short beep at 7 second intervals. You have 5 to 7 minutes of talk time remaining once this warning indicators start.  Power On Press and hold the Power/Talk button for more than 1 second.  Power Off Press and hold the Power/Talk button for more than 4 seconds.  Bluetooth Pairing  1.  Turn the VSH-511 on, then press and hold the Power/Talk button for at least 5 seconds until you hear a series of beeps followed by a connection signal. The blue LED indicator light begins to flash once every second. 2. Follow the instruction guide for your phone. This usually involves going to a “setup”, “connect”, or “Bluetooth” menu on your handset and then selecting the option to “discover” or “add” a Bluetooth device. 3.  When requested the passkey or PIN⁴, press “0000” (4 zeros). You will receive confirmation when pairing is complete. If pairing is unsuccessful, repeat these steps.   If pairing is successful, the blue LED indicator light will flash in standby mode every 5 seconds. If pairing fails, this will flash once every second. Please repeat the above steps.  NOTE)   Pairing can be done with up to 3 Handsets maximum, if you add a 4th Handset, the VSH-511 will automatically remove the registration information of the least used   VSH-511 can be only in pairing mode when the headset turned off.  Answering a call Press the Power/Talk button.
 Ending a call Press the Power/Talk button.  Rejecting a call Press and hold the Power/Talk button for more than 2 seconds when ringing.   Making a call If you make a call from the Handset, the call will (subject to phone settings) be automatically transferred to the Headset. If not automatically transferred, you can transfer the call manually by pressing the Power/Talk button.  Last number redialing Press and hold the Power/Talk button for more than 2 seconds.   (This will initiate voice dialing on some Handsets.)  Voice dialing Press the Power/Talk button.   (It’s available only when your Handset supports the voice dialing function. Please consult your Handset’s user manual.)  Volume Control   Press the Volume Up or Down button to increase or decrease the speaker volume.  Transferring a call To transfer a call from the Handset to the VSH-511, press the Power/Talk button while answering. To transfer a call back to the Handset, just press the Power/Talk button again.    Call Waiting (Answering a second call without hanging up the first call) Answer a second call by pressing the Power/Talk button while answering. Press again to return to the first call. Press and hold the Power/Talk button for at least 2 seconds to hang up both calls at once.  Holding Key function To place a call on hold, press the Power/Talk button and the Volume Up & Down button simultaneously for at least 1 second. To turn Hold off, press these buttons again.  2. LED Indication Function VSH-511 status LED Status Power off  Blue LED light remains on until the Talk button is released. Booting  Blue LED light remains on until initialization completes. Idle  Blue LED light flashes on once every 7 seconds. Operating (Blue LED) Discoverable  Blue LED light flashes on and off every 0.5 second.
Ringing  Blue LED light flashes on and off 3 times every 3 seconds until answered. SCO Connection (Synchronous Connection Oriented) Blue LED light flashes off every 7 seconds.  Low Battery  Blue LED light flashes rapidly 5 times at 7 second intervals. Charging  Blue LED light remains on. Charging (Blue LED)  Charging Completed  Blue LED light remains off.  3. Pairing Mode  Power off  Press the Power/Talk button for at least 5 seconds when powered off. Answering a call  Ringing  Press the Power/Talk button. Ending a call  Talking  Press the Power/Talk button.   Rejecting a call  Ringing  Press the Power/Talk button for more than 2 seconds.   Call Waiting Mode   (Answering a second call)  Talking & Ringing Press the Power/Talk button. Call Waiting Mode (Return to original Call)  Talking  Press the Power/Talk button. Call Waiting Mode (Hang up both calls at once)  Talking  Press the Power/Talk button for at least 2 seconds. Last Number Redial  Ready  Press and hold the Power/Talk button for more than 2 seconds. Voice dialing (Mobile phone should support)  Ready  Press the Power/Talk button.   Hold On  Hold off  Press the Power/Talk, Volume Up, and Down buttonssimultaneously. Hold Off  Hold on  Press the Power/Talk, Volume Up, and Down buttons simultaneously.
