Please take these safety precautions under the tollowing conditions:
1. Servicing the vehicle
When sen/icing (i.e changing the oil, washing your car) your automobile, the Compustar
system should be in Valet Mode. There is a safety shutdown sWitch under the hood that
deactivams the remote starter function it the hood is open. However, it the sWitch has
been damaged or the switch has been installed improperly, the vehicle may start when
Button ll is pressed for 2 seconds even it the hood is open
2. Leaning your vehicle to others
Whenever you loan your vehicle to an indiVidual who is not familiar with Corrpustar,
please put the vehicle in Valet mode This Will prevent the vehicle Ioanerirom accidental-
ly activating the CompuStar auto-security system
3. For manual transmission vehicles
It the Corrpustar ZWSSR is installed in a manual transmission vehicle, extra precautions
are required because the Compustar does not monitor the gear shift:

Under normal circumstances, Resen/ation Mode is cancelled
when a door or hatchback opens Please veniy it the opening of any door or

monitored by CompuStar because of improper installation or a faulty dome light sWitch,
do not use the CompuStar and take yourvehicie to the dealer immediately for repair
Do not set Resen/aton Mode when the WindOW(S) are open or it there is anyone
inside of the vehicle including animals.
_ystem Maintenance
This system requires no specific maintenance Your remotepager is powered by a single
AA battery that win last approximately one month under normal use depending on the
make and model of your vehicle. There is a battery icon in the lower nght corner of the
CompuGLO LCD indicating remaining battery lite When the battery weakens, the
operating range will be reduced and the CompuGLO LCD will dim Contact your
authorized Compustar dealer it you have addiuonal questions

The model name, MR561, stands for Two Way Spread Spectrum Remote with
Liquid Crystal Display. This S-channel transmitter that allows you to activate multiple
functions by pressing a combination of 4 buttons on the unit in order to transmit signals.

The remoterpager comes with CompuGLO which is a unique color LCD display that
Visually tells the vehicle owner the secunty status of your car at all times There are

Option Programming for Four Button Remotes
Step1: For programming menu 1 Press Buttons (l+ll) for2 seconds
For programming menu 2 Press Buttons (l+I\/) for 2 seconds
The carWill chirp once indicating that you are in programming mode
Stepz: Within a 2 seconds after pressing (hill or (I+I\/). press Button I\/ the
number oftimes to go to the option number you want to change
Vou Will hear a Chirp and see the parking lights flash each
time when you press Button Iv.
Step3: Wait a few seconds You Will hear a number of chirps and see a
number of parking light flashes corresponding to the option num
ber you want to change lfthe number of chirps or flashes is not
what you want. go back to Step 1
Step4: Press Button I forthe default factory settings and your car Will
respond by one chirp and one flash Press Button ii for the
optional setting and your carWill respond by two chirps and two
parking light flashes
l lfyou heara long chirp, you are going out of programming mode.
please go back to Step 1.
l lfyou want to change more options, go back to Step 1.
Resetting the Programming Options to the factory default settings.
Stap1 : Press Buttons (ltll) simultaneously or Buttons (Hill) simultaneously

2-9 If you need more than 2 Aux outputs, you can interface the CM 3000 with
Channel Expander for 7 Aux outputs If you take this Channel Expander option
and you turn on the Passive setting of the QWFMR, the four buttons of the
ZWFMR operate these 7 outputs instead of normal button functions such as
arm/disarm or start/stop Refer to the manual of the Channel Expander.

remote will change the button functions to operate of the Channel Expander

Adjusting the Car Siren Voiume:
in order to decrease the chirping volume of the siren, cut the loop located on
the siren.
Adjusting the Shock Sensor Sensitivity:
in order to the shock sensor sensitivity, turn the screw located on the
sensor clockwise in order to decrease the sensitivity, turn the screw located
on the sensor counterclockwise Turning the screwiust a small amount can
make a big difference so make sure you recheck the serisitiVity after each adiust—
merit.
