You must pair them m together firrst. Please refer to sectio on 4.3, “Pairin ng the Headset and the Handlebar Remote” for m more details. To power off the device, press and ho old the To po Front Button and tthe Rear Buttton for two seconds untill red LED flashes. 4.3 Pairing the e Headset and the Handlebar Remote Turn on o the headsset and the Handlebar Remote. On tthe headset, press and hold the (+) B Button for 10 0 seconds un ntil you hear a voice prom mpt, “Configu uration menu”. Keep tap pping the (+) Button until you hear a vvoice promptt, “Remote control pairin ng”. On the H Handlebar Re emote, press s and hold th he Rear Buttton for 5 seco onds until th e LED altern nates red and d blue. The main unit and d the Handleb bar Remote will w be paired d shortly afte er. 4.4 Charging You can charge tthe headset and the Ha andlebar Rem mote by con nnecting the supplied US SB power & data cable into a compu uter’s USB p port or USB wall w charger. You can usse any standard micro-US SB cable to charge the units. The ch harging LEDs turn red while they are charging and turn blu ue when the ey are fully charged. You will hear a beepp when the volume reach hes the maxim mum or minim mum level. The volume is set and m maintained in ndependently at differennt levels for each audio source even when you re eboot the hea adset. For ex xample, once e you set the e volume for mobile phonne handsfree e, it will not change even if you adjustt the volume for your Bluetooth MP3 music. How wever, if you adjust the voolume during g stand-by mode, it ery audio sou urce. will afffect volume levels of eve Softw wares 4.7 Sena 4.7.1 Sena Device e Manager 11 | 10U The Sena Device Manager allows you to upgrade the e firmware an nd configure e the device settings dire ectly from yo our PC. Windo 4.7.2 Sena Smarttphone App Smartphone App allows you to configure de evice settings s and read th he User’s Guuide and the Quick Start Guide. Thhe pairing op peration is re equired only once for each h Bluetooth device. The headset rem mains paired with the dev vices and auutomatically reconnects to o them when they are with hin range. Note: - If the GPS is allso your preferred Blueto ooth stereo music sourc ce, you can pair the GP PS to the 10U by following the simple e procedure in section 5.1, “Mobile Phone Pairing g - Mobile Ph hone, Bluetoo oth Stereo D Device”. - You have to use e a motorcyclle specific GPS, which trransmits turn n-by-turn voic ce instructionns to the hea adset by Blue etooth. Most automotive GPS systemss do not have this feature e. - The Sena SR10 0 is a Blueto ooth two-way radio adap pter for grou up communication, and uses Hands s-Free Profile e. The incom ming audio fro om the two-w way radio via a SR10 is he eard in the background while having an intercom m conversatio on or a mobile e phone call.. - The GPS naviga ation or a rad dar detector could be con nnected to the SR10 by wire. The GP PS voice instrruction or the e radar detecttor alarm is a also heard in n the backgrround via SR R10 while ha aving an intercom converrsation or a phone call. Please refer to t the SR10 User’s Guide e for details. 5.3 Advanced Selective Pairing: A2DP Stere eo or Hand dsfree When n you are usiing a smartp phone, sometimes you m may need to selectively use u the 10U for A2DP stereo music only or for mobile phone e handsfree only. These instruction ns are for advanced users who w want to pair the 10U to o their smartphones with only one selective profile e: A2DP for sstereo music c of HFP for phone calls. If you have previo ously paired a mobile ph hone to the 10U, you must clear the e previous paairing list on n both device es: the e phone and d the 10U. To T clear the pairing list o wing the pairing list mobile on the 10U, please do a factory resset or follow clearin ng procedure e described in section 13 3.9, “Factoryy Reset” or 13.8, “Delete All Bluetoothh Pairing Info ormation”. To o clear the pa airing list on the mobile phone, pleas se refer to th he mobile ph hone manua al. For most smartphones, delete the e Sena 10U frrom the list o of Bluetooth devices in the settings m menu. 5.3.1 A2DP Stere eo Music Only 1. Turrn on the two o 10U headse ets (A and B) that you wo ould like to pair p with each h other. 2. Pre ess and hold the Joystickk of the head dset A and B for 5 second ds until red LEDs of the both units sttart to flash rapidly. You will w hear a voice prompt, “Intercom “ pa airing”. 3. Pre ess the Joysttick for 1 seccond of any one o of the tw wo headsets A and B, an nd wait unit tthe LEDs of both headse ets turn to blue and interco om connection is automa atically estab blished. The two 10U headsets A annd B are pairred with each h other ersation. If th he pairing pro ocess is not ccompleted within one minute, the 10U U will return to stand-by mode. for intercom conve Pairing A & B e other pairin ng between headsets A and C, and between headsets A and D by fo ollowing the same 4.
