of the

[] For minimal servicing and to maintain high

reduce the overall operation life of the unit.
Internal cleaning should only be performed
by a Sharp Authorized Projector Dealer or

Do not set up the projector

in places

exposed to direct sunlight or bright light.
[] Position the screen so that it is not in direct

the intake and exhaust vents are not blocked,
plug the power cord back in and turn on the

Caution
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with alkaline or manganese batteries.
Insert the batteries making sure the polarities correctly match the _ and _ marks inside the battery
compartment.
Batteries of different types have different properties, therefore do not mix batteries of different types.
Do not mix new and old batteries.
This may shorten the life of new batteries or may cause old batteries to leak.
Remove the batteries from the remote control once they have run out, as leaving them in can cause them
to leak.
Battery fluid from leaked batteries is harmful to skin, therefore ensure you wipe them first and then remove
them using a cloth.
The batteries included with this projector may run down in a short period, depending on how they are kept.
Be sure to replace them as soon as possible with new batteries.
Remove the batteries from the remote control if you will not be using the remote control for a long time.
Comply with the rules (ordinance) of each local government when disposing of worn-out batteries.

Info
When controlling
the projector
using RS-232C
commands
from a computer,
wait for at least 30
seconds
after the power has been turned on, and then transmit the commands.
After sending
an input selection
or picture adjustment

and then receiving
an "OK" response code, the projector may take some time to process the command.
If a second command
is
sent while the projector
is still processing
the first command,
you may receive an "ERR" response
code. If this happens,
try resending
the second command.
When more than one code is being sent, send each command
only after the response
code for the
previous command
from the projector
is verified.
