Power on the player. Wait until the main screen is displayed.
Connect to a PC with USB 2.0 cable (Mini USB B, long cable).
When it is connected to PC, “USB Device Connected” message
will pop-up on the screen
of the player.
Open USB port which is on the left side and connect USB 2.0
cable (Mini USB B, long cable) with USB 2.0 Jack which is on
the lower end of player.
When it is connected to the main body, it is detected as a mass
storage on PC. If no power source is input, the USB is not
detected. Power on when it is connected to PC.
When it is connected to PC, it is detected as a mass storage,
MVP-100.
you can transfer movie, music, image file from PC to audio box,
Video, Image folder in the player.
• You should connect to PC with USB 2.0 port.
Separation from PC
1.
If you want to separate the connection between player
and PC, click the USB connecting icon from the menu
icon which is shown right side in the below end of PC
then “Hardware safely detachable” message will pop-up.

Select “USB mass storage device” and press ”Stop”.
3.
Select “ Toshiba MK2004GAL USB Device” and select
“ Hardware device stop” message from menu.
4.
Be sure to check “ Hardware safely detachable” message
on PC.
5.
You can separate this player with PC.
• This player has USB 2.0 & USB1.1 Host Jack.
Do not use with connecting above two Jacks at the same time.
• Under Window 98 system, you should install additional USB
driver for recognition of USB.

Connect the adapter to the player’s DC Jack which
is on the lower end of the right side from the front of
player.
If the LED which is on the lower end of the front
illuminates with red color, charging is in processing.
The LED light will change into green color when
charging is complete.
The LED light will turn-off when the adapter is
detached.

Connect A/V cable to the image input terminal of TV.
Yellow is Video, White is Audio left channel, Red is Audio
right channel.
Connect A/V cable to the end of A/V Jack which is on the
lower end of the left side from the front.
Set the TV setting as Line-in .
When you power on the player, menu icons will be
displayed on TV screen and you can enjoy video file by
setting TV screen.
If you pull out the A/V cable from the player, then you can
enjoy video file on the LCD screen again.
If you stick A/V cable to the player while screen playing on
built-in LCD, then there is no output on LCD.

Connect USB 1.1 Host cable (Mini USB A, short cable) to USB
storage device (USB Flash Memory Drive).
Open USB port which is on the left side and connect USB Host cable
(short cable) with USB Host Jack which is on the lower end of player.
When it is connected to the main body, it is detected as a mass
storage (B: device) on PC.
Transfer, save, deletion of file is available at File Manager menu.
Connect two cables each other if certain product is not available to
connect to USB 1.1 Host cable (short cable).

You can make lists of music file and listen them consecutively.
Press Menu While Playing
If you press ‘Menu’ button while playing
then it is shifted as the circumstance
setting mode of the current file.

If you press ‘Select’ button while music file
playing then it is shifted as Equalizer preset

ID Tag information Display
ID TAG contains Artist name, title info. The
player supports standard ID Tag version
1,2.

Add to Playlist
Select music file and click MENU button
shortly. You will be asked whether you want to
add to Playlist. Use direction key to select YES
button then the file will be added to the list.
Playing Playlist
Select file under the play list and the files in
Playlist is played consecutively.
Deletion of file in Playlist
Select file to be deleted and Click MENU
button shortly. You will be asked whether
you want to delete file from Playlist. You can
choose Yes. And then the file will be deleted
from Play list. But the file is only deleted on
the Playlist not on the original folder.

through Video Player.
• You can watch WMV file which are not played in this player
through conversion with media converter.

Subtitle Display
To play subtitle there should be same file
name between video & subtitle file which has
extension name as smi. If you do not want to
subtitle then off the Caption on Setting>Play
mode.

• Microphone is built-in on the top of main body, so you should use it considering
the recording direction. (Refer to the name of each part 2-1.)

1. Select Snapshot in main menu.

Snapshot
Snapshot is seeing screen beforehand status, if
you press shutter or play key you can take a
picture. It shows photos taken beforehand and
asks whether you will save it. If you wan to
save it click “Yes” if not click “No”. Then it
returns to preview status.

end and set desired setting and press shutter.
You can take a Snapshot as set in the player.
Image saving
Photographed photos are saved in Snapshot
directory in the Image menu. If you want to
see the photographed photos then transfer to
Snapshot directory and select photo file
Snapshot completion
To complete snapshot on preview screen then
press ■/ESC key. By pressing ■/ESC key,
transferring to main screen is possible.

Voice Recorder selection
Transfer to ‘ Voice Recorder’ using Navigation
button and click it. By selecting Voice Recorder
icon will be highlighted.

Recording standby
By pressing Voice Recorder, voice record
standby status (Ready) will be displayed and
shifted to recording standby status.
Recording
Under recording standby status, recording
will be started by pressing II▶button. If you
press II▶button one more time, it will be
paused.
Pause/ Release
Press II▶button one more time to pause
the screen while playback.
Press II▶butto again to record from the
pause status again.
Completion of recording/ stop
If you press ■/ESC while recording then all
the recorded files will be saved in the Voice
folder under Music. By pressing ■/ESC key
it will transfer to main screen.
Recorded file playback
Recorded file is saved automatically in the
Voice folder under Music folder. At this point
press Play or Select key after searching
desired file then you can playback the
recorded file.
Alteration of Voice Recording Setting
To change recording setting then transfer to
setting Menu and set the functions of Voice
Recorder. Recording setting switchover while
recording is not available.

Displays the system info. of player.
Product name
OS version: Shows the Latest update version
HDD: Shows the occupied and empty capacity
Put the cursor on OS Update and press Select key
then updated Firmware version saved in the Root is
searched. If there is no Firmware saved, it is
indicated that there is no Firmware. If there is a
Firmware saved, you will be asked whether you will
update Firmware. If you select ‘Yes’ Firmware
update will be processed. Do not operate product
during update. After completion of update, power off
by pressing power button and reboot the player, then
it will be operated as a Firmware updated status.

You can turn on/off the built-in speaker. The
basic setting is On.
You can set the Gain value of Audio output. The Low
is 20mW/C, Middle is 30mW/C and High is 40mW/C.
You can set Equalizer as Dance, Classic and etc.

You can set the video signal output when Video Out is

Size
You can set the Video Display size whether you will
adjust it to the original resolution or to the Display size.
If you set as Screen size, it will be set as the entire size
of TV or LCD.
Language
You can set the display languages such as Korean,
English and folder name, file name, ID Tag, Sub title is
played as setting language.
You can set the Audio Volume from 0 to 30.
You can set the Balance of Right/Left audio
output. When it is +, the right sound is turned on
and for -, the left sound is turned on. When it is
0, the Right/Left output is same.
You can set the Audio Bass enhancement.
You can initialize as a basic Audio setting value.

You should connect this player to USB 2.0
jack of PC. When this product is detected as

player.

Caption is ‘OFF’ caption display is not available.

Recording is not

Not supported video file or compressed out of
specification, damaged files will not be played. Check
supported video file specification in advance.
WMV file or DTS sounded video file is playable with
conversion at Media Converter program included in
Application CD.
Even it is AVI file, if the video file has Microsoft WMV
format, then it can not be played.
When you select video file playback, the initial
loading time will be varied according to the kinds of
video file.

not detected. Some digital camera or same CENTRIX
is detected when power on. Check whether USB
Cable is connected to USB Host. If it is connected to
USB2.0, correct to connect to USB Host.
