Battery Use & Safety
Warning!
Your product contains a battery which should only be removed by a SOL
REPUBLIC approved service center or recycler.
Do not try to remove or replace the battery yourself. Attempting to remove
or replace the battery may damage the battery and may cause burning and
injury.

Do not crush, bend, or expose your product to heat or liquid. This may damage

Battery Charging
During charging, keep your product and charger near room temperature for
effi cient battery charging.
New batteries are not fully charged.
New batteries or batteries stored for a long time may take more time to
charge.
SOL REPUBLIC batteries and charging systems have circuitry that protects the
battery from damage from overcharging.
Third Party Accessories
Using third party accessories, including but not limited to batteries, chargers,
headsets, covers, cases, screen protectors, and memory cards, may impact
your product’s performance. Using a non-SOL REPUBLIC battery or charger
may present a risk of fi re, explosion, leakage, or other hazard.
SOL REPUBLIC’s warranty does not cover damage to the product caused by
non-SOL REPUBLIC batteries and/or chargers.
Driving Precautions
Responsible and safe driving is your primary responsibility when driving

a vehicle. Making calls or using applications while driving may cause
distraction, and may be prohibited or restricted in certain areas—always obey
local laws and regulations for the use of mobile devices and accessories in
the vehicle.
While driving, ALWAYS:
• Keep your eyes on the road.
• Use a handsfree device if available or required by law in your area.
• Enter destination information into a navigation device before driving.
• Use voice activated features (such as voice dial) and speaking features
(such as audible directions), if available.
• Concentrate on driving, and stop using the mobile device if you can not
concentrate.
Pull over safely before using your mobile device to send messages, surf the
web, or use other applications.
Caution About High Volume Usage
Warning: Exposure to loud noise from any source for extended periods of time
may affect your hearing. The louder the volume sound level, the less time is
required before your hearing could be affected. To protect your hearing:
• Limit the amount of time you use headsets or headphones at high volume.
• Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
• Turn the volume down if you can not hear people speaking near you.
If you experience hearing discomfort, including the sensation of pressure or
fullness in your ears, ringing in your ears, or muffl ed speech, you should stop
listening to the device through your speaker, headset or headphones and
have your hearing checked.
Children
Keep your product and its accessories away from small children. These
products are not toys and may be hazardous to small children. For example, a
choking hazard may exist for small, detachable parts.

Use & Care
To care for your SOL REPUBLIC product, please observe the following:
• Liquids - do not expose your product to water, rain, extreme humidity,
sweat, or other liquids.
• Drying - do not try to dry your product using a microwave oven,
conventional oven, or dryer.
• Extreme heat or cold - avoid temperatures below -10°C (14°F) or above
45°C (113°F). For battery powered accessories, do not recharge your
accessory in temperatures below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F).
• Dust and dirt - do not expose your product to dust, dirt, sand, food, or
similar materials.
• Cleaning - to clean your product, use only a dry soft cloth. Do not use
alcohol or other cleaning solutions.
• Shock and vibration - do not drop your product or expose it to strong
vibration.
• Protection - to help protect your product, always make sure that all
connector and compartment covers are closed and secure, and avoid
carrying it with hard objects such as keys or coins.
Changes or modifi cations not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

SOL REPUBLIC has taken a focused approach to ensure that our products
are constructed of materials that have minimal negative impact on the
environment. We ensure that all of our products are safe to use as intended.
Many electronics products are manufactured with some materials that are
toxic. Some SOL REPUBLIC products can expose the user to substances that
are classi! ed on the Proposition 65 list of substances. Per the CA Prop 65
regulation the following warning statement is provided:

European Union Directives Conformance
SOL REPUBLIC declares that this product is in compliance with the essential
requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC (R&TTE),
2002/95/EC (RoHS), and all other relevant EU Directives.

not contain any of the restricted substances in concentrations in excess of
the values permitted or because levels in excess of these concentrations
are permitted under exemptions listed in the Annex to the Directive.

Disposal and Recycling
Please do not dispose of products or electrical accessories (such as chargers,

your local or regional authority.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Your SOL REPUBLIC product is covered by a worldwide limited warranty by
SOL REPUBLIC Inc, 9375 SW Commerce Circle, Suite 9A, Wilsonville, OR,
USA for defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period is two
years for SOL REPUBLIC products purchased in the European Union (36
months in Sweden), and one year for all other countries.
When you purchase SOL REPUBLIC products you may be entitled to

additional statutory rights. For example, consumer laws across the European
Union provide statutory rights in addition to the coverage you receive from
the SOL REPUBLIC Limited Warranty. The SOL REPUBLIC Limited Warranty
does not affect your statutory rights. To acquire a printable version of your

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase of new or refurbished
products purchased from SOL REPUBLIC or an authorized SOL REPUBLIC
dealer by the • rst end-user. A defect caused by a materials or workmanship
error, SOL REPUBLIC or its dealers will repair the product using new or
refurbished replacement parts at no charge for labor or materials, or replace
the product with a functionally equivalent product that is new or refurbished,
or at the discretion of SOL REPUBLIC, refund the original purchase price. It is
recommended the purchaser retain proof of purchase in the form of a receipt
or bill of sale with the date of purchase and name of model purchased.
Restrictions
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
• minor faults or deviations in quality of the product which are insigni• cant
to the value of the product when used as described in the user guide;
• cosmetic damage, acts of God, misuse, improper connection, improper
use;
• products purchased open box, sold as-is, by private party resale or any
other third party purchases from unauthorized distributors; or
• Normal wear and other causes that are not defects in materials and
workmanship.
Attempted repair by unauthorized repair personnel will void this Limited
Warranty. Transfer of SOL REPUBLIC products through unauthorized
distributors renders this Limited Warranty null and void. This Limited
Warranty is also null and void if the product is damaged by a connecting
product that may have caused damage through misuse or malfunction or if
the factory model name or serial number has been altered.
If you would like to make a claim under this Limited Warranty you have the
following options:
• Please visit www.solrepublic.com/support and complete the Warranty
Form for limited warranty support. The form will require your name,
mailing address, email address, phone contact, description of the defect or

problem, a scanned copy of your receipt or invoice, and if possible, include
a picture of the fault. We will validate your request and respond with how
we will repair or replace your product; or
• You may return your product to us. Please include your name, mailing
address, email address, phone contact, description of the defect or
problem, and a copy of your receipt or invoice. We will validate your
request and respond with how we will repair or replace your product.
Properly protect the product in a shipping package, as we are not
responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. The product can be

CONVOY INTERNATIONAL PRODUCT WARRANTY
Subject to the following terms, Convoy International Pty Limited (‘Convoy’)
will repair or replace any part of any eligible Convoy product that is defective
within the warranty period indicated in below or refund you the cost of
the replacement. The bene! ts to a consumer given by this warranty are in
addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in relation

to the goods or services to which the warranty relates.
Eligibility
1. To claim the bene• t of this warranty you must;
(a) be the original purchaser of a genuine Convoy product from a Convoy
Authorized Re-Seller within Australia (this warranty is not transferable)
(b) produce proof of your purchase; and
(c) provide the details required in the ‘How to Claim’ section below.
2. This warranty applies only to products imported and distributed by Convoy
and sold to you within Australia after 1 January 2012.
3. This warranty is limited to defects that arise;
(a) In the course of normal domestic installation and use and
(b) within the warranty period identi• ed for the product in below,
commencing on the date of original purchase.
4. This warranty excludes
(a) defects arising from misuse, accident, neglect or improper care,
• uctuation in electrical current, incorrect or failed software upgrade,
damage or malfunction from incorrect assembly or installation, defects
from alteration or modi• cation, unauthorized service or repair;
(b) appearance items such as cabinetry marks or damage;
(c) products on which the serial number has been defaced or removed; and
(d) claims made later than 21 days after the defect • rst appears.
5. Convoy may elect between repair, replacement or refund to honour this
warranty, at its sole discretion.
6. In making a claim under this warranty, you agree that If, following receipt
of your claim under this warranty, Convoy or its authorized service centre
determine that your claim in respect of a product is invalid or you have
provided false, inaccurate or misleading information with your claim, Convoy
or its authorized service centre may charge you for any labour, parts or
transport costs incurred.

11. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a
major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss
or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if
the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to
a major failure.

Précautions de conduite
Une conduite responsable et sécuritaire est la responsabilité principale du
conducteur d’un véhicule. Passer un appel ou utiliser des applications en
conduisant peut être source de distraction et peut être interdit ou restreint
dans certaines régions : toujours respecter les lois et les règlementations
locales en matière d’utilisation de dispositifs mobiles et d’accessoires dans
le véhicule.
Au volant, TOUJOURS :
• Garder les yeux sur la route.
• Utiliser un dispositif mains libres si disponible ou si la législation locale
l’exige.
• Entrer l’adresse de destination dans le dispositif de navigation avant de
conduire.
• Utiliser les commandes vocales (comme la numérotation vocale) et les
fonctionnalités vocales (comme les indications de direction sonores), si
disponibles.

Précaution en cas d’utilisation à un volume sonore
élevé

Utilisation et entretien
Pour entretenir le produit SOL REPUBLIC, veuillez observer les
recommandations suivantes :

La période de garantie démarre à compter de la date d’achat d’un produit
neuf ou reconditionné auprès de SOL REPUBLIC ou d’un revendeur

résultant d’une erreur de matériel ou de fabrication, SOL REPUBLIC ou ses
revendeurs s’engagent à réparer le produit en utilisant des pièces neuves ou
reconditionnées sans coût de main d’œuvre ou de matériel, ou remplacer le
produit avec un produit de fonctionnalité équivalente neuf ou reconditionné,
ou au choix de SOL REPUBLIC, rembourser le prix d’achat initial. Il est
recommandé à l’acheteur de conserver une preuve d’achat sous forme de

Limitations
La présente Garantie Limitée ne couvre pas :
• les défauts ou différences de qualité mineurs du produit qui sont insigni• ants

• les dommages esthétiques, les catastrophes naturelles, une mauvaise

revente entre particuliers ou d’un achat auprès de distributeurs non agréés ;
ou
• l’usure normale et toutes autres causes qui ne sont pas des défauts de
matériel et de fabrication.
Toute tentative de réparation par des réparateurs non agréés annule la
présente Garantie Limitée. Le transfert de produits SOL REPUBLIC via des
distributeurs non agréés annule la présente Garantie Limitée. La présente
Garantie Limitée est également considérée comme nulle lorsque le produit
est endommagé par un produit connecté ayant pu causer le dommage par
une mauvaise utilisation ou un dysfonctionnement ou si le nom du modèle
d’usine ou le numéro de série a été altéré.

batterie o caricabatterie non SOL REPUBLIC presenta un rischio di incendio,
esplosione, fuoriuscita di liquido o altri pericoli.

La garanzia SOL REPUBLIC non copre danni al prodotto causati da batterie
e/o caricabatterie non approvati o autorizzati da SOL REPUBLIC.
Precauzioni alla guida dei veicoli
Una guida responsabile e sicura è una vostra responsabilità primaria quando
conducete un veicolo. Telefonare o utilizzare applicazioni mentre guidate
potrebbe causare distrazioni e potrebbe essere vietato o limitato in alcune
aree - rispettate sempre le leggi e le normative vigenti a livello locale in
materia di utilizzo di dispositivi e accessori mobili nel veicolo.
Mentre guidate, dovete SEMPRE:
• Tenere lo sguardo sulla strada.
• Utilizzare un dispositivo che vi permetta di avere le mani libere, se disponibile
o previsto dalle leggi vigenti nella vostra area.

REPUBLIC da parte di distributori non autorizzati rende nulla e invalida la
presente Garanzia Convenzionale.
La presente Garanzia Convenzionale è altresì nulla e invalida se il prodotto
è danneggiato da un prodotto connesso che può aver causato un danno
attraverso un uso improprio o un malfunzionamento o se il nome del modello
di fabbrica o il numero seriale di produzione sono stati alterati.
Eventuali reclami in relazione alla presente Garanzia Convenzionale possono

Risiko darstellen.
Die Garantie von SOL REPUBLIC deckt keinen Produktschaden ab, der von
Batterien bzw. Ladegeräten eines anderen Herstellers als SOL REPUBLIC
verursacht wird.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen beim Fahren
Wenn Sie ein Fahrzeug führen, ist Ihre erste Verantwortlichkeit, verantwortlich
und sicher zu fahren. Während der Fahrt Anrufe zu tätigen oder
Anwendungen zu verwenden kann zu Unaufmerksamkeit führen und ist
eventuell in bestimmten Gebieten verboten oder nur eingeschränkt erlaubt
- halten Sie stets die örtlichen Gesetze und Verordnungen für den Gebrauch

OR, USA, in Bezug auf Material- und Herstellungsmängel. Die Dauer der
Garantie beträgt zwei Jahre für SOL REPUBLIC Produkte, welche in der
Europäischen Union (36 Monate in Schweden) gekauft wurden und ein Jahr
für alle anderen Länder.

Die Laufzeit der Garantie beginnt am Tag des Kaufs eines neuen oder
runderneuerten Produkts von SOL REPUBLIC oder einem zugelassenen
Händler von SOL REPUBLIC seitens des ersten Endkunden. Im Falle von
Mängeln, die durch Material- oder Herstellungsfehler hervorgerufen werden,
wird SOL REPUBLIC oder ihre Händler das Produkt unter Verwendung
neuer oder runderneuerter Ersatzteile reparieren, ohne Gebühren für
die dadurch entstandenen Personal- oder Materialkosten zu verlangen,
oder das mängelbehaftete Produkt durch ein in funktionaler Hinsicht
gleichwertiges Produkt ersetzen, das neu oder runderneuert ist, oder – nach
alleinigem Ermessen der SOL REPUBLIC – den ursprünglichen Kaufpreis
zurückerstatten. Dem Käufer wird nahegelegt, Belege für den Kauf
aufzubewahren, zum Beispiel in Form einer Quittung oder Verkaufsurkunde,
auf der das Verkaufsdatum und die Bezeichnung des erworbenen Modells
vermerkt sind.

Einschränkungen
Diese Garantie gilt nicht für Folgendes:
• Geringfügige Qualitätsmängel oder -abweichungen des Produkts, die für
den Wert des Produkts nicht von Bedeutung sind, wenn das Produkt so
verwendet wird, wie es im Benutzerhandbuch beschrieben ist;
• Kosmetische Schäden, höhere Gewalt, falscher Gebrauch oder
unsachgemäßer Anschluss und Zweckentfremdung;
• Produkte, die mit geöffneten Verpackung oder nach dem Prinzip „gekauft
wie gesehen“ gekauft wurden, und die von Privatpersonen oder von anderen
nicht zugelassenen Händlern bezogen wurden; oder
• Normale Verschleißerscheinungen und andere Gründe, die keine Material-
und Ausführungsmängel sind.
Reparaturversuche durch unbefugte Personen lassen diese Garantie hinfällig
werden. Das gilt auch für den Vertrieb von SOL-REPUBLIC-Produkten
über nicht zugelassene Händler. Außerdem wird diese Garantie hinfällig,
wenn das Produkt durch ein daran angeschlossenes Produkt beschädigt
wird, das durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch oder Betriebsstörungen

No aplastes, dobles o expongas este producto a altas temperaturas o a
líquidos. Esto podría dañar la batería y provocar quemaduras y otras lesiones.
Existe un riesgo de explosión si se reemplaza la batería por un tipo incorrecto
de batería. Desecha las baterías gastadas conforme a las instrucciones.
Batería en carga
Mientras se esté cargando la batería, mantén este producto y el cargador

cargador que no sean de SOL REPUBLIC puede suponer un riesgo de
incendio, explosión, fuga u otros peligros.
La garantía de SOL REPUBLIC no cubre daños al producto causados por
baterías y/o cargadores que no sean de SOL REPUBLIC.

Precauciones al volante
Conducir un vehículo de manera responsable y segura es tu responsabilidad
principal cuando vas al volante. Realizar llamadas o utilizar aplicaciones
mientras conduces puede provocar distracción, y puede estar prohibido en
ciertas zonas; obedece siempre las leyes y normas locales en lo que respecta
al uso de dispositivos móviles y accesorios en tu vehículo.
Mientras conduzcas, SIEMPRE:

En caso de defectos en materiales o causados como consecuencia de un
error de la mano de obra, SOL REPUBLIC o sus distribuidores repararán
el producto usando piezas de repuesto nuevas o reparadas y sin cargo
adicional alguno por materiales o mano de obra, o reemplazarán el producto
por uno con una funcionalidad equivalente, nuevo o reparado, o a discreción
de SOL REPUBLIC, reembolsará el precio de la compra original. Se
recomienda al comprador que conserve la prueba de la compra en formato
de recibo o factura de compra con la fecha de la misma y el nombre del
modelo adquirido.
Limitaciones:
Esta Garantía Limitada no cubre:
• averías menores o imperfecciones en la calidad del producto que sean

El intento de reparación del producto por personal no autorizado anulará la

SOL REPUBLIC a través de distribuidores no autorizados dejará sin validez
la presente Garantía Limitada. Asimismo, esta Garantía Limitada también
será nula y no tendrá validez si el producto es dañado por la conexión de un
producto que haya causado un daño derivado de un mal uso o de un mal
funcionamiento del mismo o si el nombre de fábrica del modelo o su número
de serie han sido alterados.
