P R OTO C O L" INSTRUCTION OF ITEM:7792 Important buttery information - The car is powered by 4 xAA batteries or 4.8 V rechargeable battery (not included). ' The remote unit is powered by a 9V battery (not included) ' Batteries are to be removed. replaced and charge by an adult. ' Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. ° Only batteries ol'the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. - Different types of batteries or new used batteries are not to be mixed ' The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. - II'the carts not going to be used for a long time. remove the battery and battery pack. in the remote unit Changing the batter ' Locate the battery compartment on the underside ot‘the remote unit. ' Slide the ridged release catch towards the hinge to unlock the compartment door as shown in the diagram. then / swing the door open on its hinge. ' wist the release catch until the flat part aligns with the edge oftlie door. - You may now lift ot‘t‘thc door. - Insert fresh-batteries. observing the correct polarity its shown inside the compartment. - Shut the door and secure it with the release catch Preparation for use 0 U ' Screw the telescopic aerial fully title the socket at the top ofthe remote unit. as shown in the diagram. isure the wire antenna on the ear is pointing straight upwards This will ultimately help to increase the range ofsigiial transmission to the car OPERATING THE CAR Controls on the remote unit - The remote unit has no ON on switch it automatically turns on when the controls are operated Wheri lhts happens. the LED lights. - Use the steering paddle to steer the car left orright Twist the paddle clockwise to go right oranticloekwise to go let] - Use the triggerto propel the ciir forwards (by pulling it back with your finger) turbackwards (by pushing it with your finger). - To stop the car. simply let go ol'thc trigger. allowing it to return to its central position.
