The aircraft will then return n to the last recorded Home Poiint. Press th his button again to canccel the RTH H proceduree and regain n the con ntrol of the aircraft. USB B Port: Conn nect your mo obile device to the USB Port P to accesss all of the camera and aircrafft features av vailable in th he DJI app. HDM MI Port: Con nnect an HD D compatible monitor to o the HDMI port to see w what your cam mera sees in full f HD. Upg grade Port: Use U this portt to connect the GL658A A to a PC or Mac and up pgrade the firrmware. Thee relevant Assistant softtware must be b installed and open on yo our computeer. Co onnecting Mob bile Device an nd C1 Step 1: Positio on the mobilee device hold der as the piccture shown, then plug th he holder into o the mountting hole and tighten the scrrew. Step 2: Attach the t holder to neck strap attaachment and tighten. Step 3: Press th he button on th he side to hold d the mobile device and seccure. Step 4: Connect the mobile device to C1 USB port via micro‐USB cable. 4. Powering on C1 Press the power button once to check the current battery level. Press once and then press again and hold for 2 seconds to power on the C1. (Repeat the above steps again to power off the C1) Ready to Fly 1. Place the aircraft on flat ground in an open place with rear LED flight indicators facing you, and then power on the C1 and aircraft. 2. Connect C1 and mobile device. 3. Launch DJI App, make sure the GPS mode has been selected. 4. Calibrating Compass Always calibrate compass before your flight. Step 1: Go into the App camera GUI and tap the button, select “calibrate compass” to start the process, the rear LED flight indicator will be solid blue at this time. Step 2: Hold aircraft horizontally then rotate 360° around the center axis until rear LED flight indicator will be solid green. Step 3: Hold aircraft vertically with nose pointing to the ground, rotate 360° around the center axis until rear LED flight indicator will be blink purple. The process is completed. If rear LED flight indicator is solid red, calibration has failed. Re‐calibrate by repeating step 1‐3. 5. Description of rear LED indicator Blinking purple:GPS〉=6 or hover assistant is functioning,it is safe for flight. Blinking yellow: No GPS protection. Blinking red: System error occurs. * Refer to Appendix for more information. 6. Go into the camera GUI and tap check list, ensure everything is functioning normal. Flight 1. Taking off:Start motors by pulling both control sticks to the bottom corners. Release sticks once motors start. Slowly push the left(throttle) stick up to take off. Landing:Switch the transformation switch to lower position before landing. Gently pull the left (throttle) stick down to lower the aircraft until it touches the ground. When landing on the ground, pull the throttle stick to the bottom, then pull both sticks to bottom corners to stop motors. Power off the aircraft prior to power off the C1. 2. C1 Operation This section explains how to use the various features of the C1. C1 Aircraft (Mode 2) ( indicates nose direction) Remarks Moving the left stick up and down changes the aircraft’s elevation. Push the stick up to ascend and down to descend. Push the throttle stick up to takeoff. When both sticks are centered, the DJI Inspire 1 will hover in place. The more the stick is pushed away from the center position, the faster the DJI Inspire 1 will change elevation. Always push the stick gently to prevent sudden and unexpected elevation changes. Moving the left stick to the left or right controls the rudder and rotation of the aircraft. Push the sick left to rotate the aircraft counter clock‐wise, and push the stick right to rotate the aircraft clockwise. If the stick is centered, the DJI Inspire 1 will stay facing its current direction. The more the stick is pushed away from the center position, the faster the DJI Inspire 1 will rotate. Moving the right stick up and down changes the aircraft’s forward and backward pitch. Push the stick up to fly forward and down to fly backward. The DJI Inspire 1 will hover in place if the stick is centered. Push the stick further away from the center position n for a largeer pitch ang gle (maximu um 35˚) and fastter flight. Moving the right stick contrrol left and d right changess the aircraft’’s left and rig ght pitch. Push lefft to fly left and right to o fly right. The T DJI Inspire 1 will hover in place if th he stick is cen ntered. Push th he stick further away y from the center position n for a largeer pitch ang gle (maximu um 35˚) and fastter flight. Gimbal Dial: Turn the dial to the right, and the camera will shift to o point upwards. Turn the t dial to the left, and th he camera w will shift to o point downwards. The camera will remain in its current position wh hen dial is sttatic. 3. Reeturn Home Press and hold d the return ho ome button forr a while untill the LED surrround the buttton blinking white, th he return hom me procedure is i in process. Press once to stop the proceedure. It is reco ommend to taake off the airccraft until the rear LED lightt blinks purplee. Do not stop the motor during fligh ht. Aeriial Photograph 1. Connect Batttery Chargeer to a poweer source (10 00‐240V 50/660Hz). 2. O Open the Prrotection Caap and conneect the Smarrt Battery to the Battery Charger. If the t battery level is abov ve 75%, turn on the batteery before charging. 3. The T Battery Level Indicator will dissplay the currrent battery y level durin ng charging. 4. The T Smart Battery is fullly charged when Batterry Level Ind dicators are aall off.
