1.PlacetheaircraftonflatgroundinanopenplacewithrearLEDflightindicatorsfacingyou,andthen
powerontheC1andaircraft.
2.ConnectC1andmobiledevice.
3.LaunchDJIApp,makesuretheGPSmodehasbeenselected.
4.CalibratingCompass
Alwayscalibratecompassbeforeyourflight.
Step1:GointotheAppcameraGUIandtapthebutton,select“calibratecompass”tostartthe
process,therearLEDflightindicatorwillbesolidblueatthistime.
Step2:Holdaircrafthorizontallythenrotate360°aroundthecenteraxisuntilrearLEDflightindicator
willbesolidgreen.
Step3:Holdaircraftverticallywithnosepointingtotheground,rotate360°aroundthecenteraxisuntil
rearLEDflightindicatorwillbeblinkpurple.Theprocessiscompleted.
IfrearLEDflightindicatorissolidred,calibrationhasfailed.Re‐calibratebyrepeatingstep1‐3.

1.Takingoff：Startmotorsbypullingbothcontrolstickstothebottomcorners.Releasesticksonce
motorsstart.Slowlypushtheleft(throttle)stickuptotakeoff.
 
Landing：Switchthetransformationswitchtolowerpositionbeforelanding.Gentlypulltheleft
(throttle)stickdowntolowertheaircraftuntilittouchestheground.Whenlandingontheground,
pullthethrottlesticktothebottom,thenpullbothstickstobottomcornerstostopmotors.Poweroff
theaircraftpriortopowerofftheC1.
