2.TheMicrowaveRadarcanbeusedwithflatfarmlandonlyandcannotbeusedwithslopefields
whichhaveaninclinationmorethan10°andwhereheightdifferencesmayoccur.
3.Toavoidinterference,ensurethatthereisnootherequipmentusingmicrowaveradio
frequenciesnearby.Forexample,automotivemicrowaveradars,satellitecommunicationstations,
etc.
4.Obeylocalradiotransmissionlawsandregulations.
5.Beforeuse,ensurethattheouterprotectivecoverisnotcracked,chipped,sunken,or
misshapen.
6.Keeptheprotectivecoverclean.Cleanthesurfacewithasoftdampclothandairdrybefore

8.Obstacleavoidanceisadverselyaffectedwhenaircraftpitchexceeds15°.Pleaseflywithcare.

10.Aircraftspeedshouldnotexceed5m/swhenflyingoversurfacesataheightof<2m.Aircraft
speedshouldnotexceed7m/swhenflyingataheightof≥2m.Obstacleavoidancewill
otherwisebegreatlycompromisedorevendisabled.
11.TheMicrowaveRadarwillonlymaintainafixeddistancefromvegetationwithinitsworking
range(1.53.5m).Observetheaircraftsdistancefromthevegetationatalltimes.
12.Operatewithextracautionwhenflyingoverinclinedsurfaces(dependingonaircraftspeed).
Recommendedmaximuminclinationatdifferentspeeds:10°at1m/s,at3m/sandat5
m/s.
13.Pleasemaintainfullcontroloftheaircraftatalltimes.DONOTrelysolelyontheDJIMGapp.

Introduction
TheHighPrecisionRotationMicrowaveRadarisdesignedforDJIAgrasMG1SAdvancedand
AgrasMG1Pseriesaircraft.Itintegratesthethreealtitudestabilizationradarsandoneobstacle
avoidanceradar.Itssensitivityhasbeenimprovedtothetwiceofthelastgenerationand
omnidirectionaldetectionissupported,whicheffectivelyenhancetheabilityofsensingobstacles
andperceivingthechangeofterrain.Activeobstacleavoidancefunctionmakestheradarfully
operationalindustyornighttimeconditions.Theradarcansensethehorizontalwirewitha
radiusof0.5cmatadistanceof15metersinfrontandcaneffectivelyreducethesafetyrisk
causedbycommonobstaclesonfarmland,suchaswiresandtreerods.Whileimprovingthe
performanceofthework,theradar’singressprotectionperformanceisalsoincreasedtoIP67(IEC
standard60529),fullyadaptingtothecomplicatedenvironmentinthefield.
Installation
InthisexampleweconnecttoAgrasMG1SAdvanced.Theradarshouldbemountedtotheleft
landinggearlegoftheaircraft.Hexkeysforthefollowingscrewsarerequired:M2.5,M3.
1.Slidethethreeradarconnectorsontheleftlandinggearlegtotheircorrespondinghorizontal
marks.Rotatethetwoupperconnectorstoalignthegapsonthemtotheverticalmarksonthe
landinggearleg.ThentightenthetwoM2.5screwsandtwoM3screws.
2.Preparetheradarcable.Makesurethatthereisarubberpadonthe10pinconnector,then
connectittotheportontheradarandtightenthetwoM2.55screws.
3.Mounttheradartotheconnectorsonthelandinggear.Slidedownwardstomakesurethatthe
finsontheradariscompletelyinsertedintotheconnectors.
4.Insertthethreepinsintothemountingholesonthethreeconnectors,andthenfixthemwith
cotterpins.
5.Connecttheradarcabletotheradarportontheaircraftbody.

Detection Range
Thedetectionrangeoftheradarisdepictedasfollows.Notethattheaircraftcannotsense
obstaclesthatarenotwithindetectionrange.Pleaseflywithcaution.
