Battery Pack
Your new Sprint PCS Phone comes with a rechargeable battery pack that is partially charged so you can use it
immediately after you activate, without any hassle. If you have the time, however, you should charge the battery as
soon as possible,to get the most out of it.
Installing your battery pack.
To install your battery, just follow these simple steps:
1. Hold the battery with the label facing down.
2. Lay it on the back of the phone with the top of the battery about a quarter of an inch from
the latch.(The connectors at the base of the battery should line up with the connectors on
the base of the phone.???I didn't know what to call those little metal things in the battery and
on the phone???)
3. Gently slide the battery until it clicks into place.
Turning your phone on and off.
When you're ready to turn your Sprint PCS Phone on,check to see that the charged battery pack has been
installed in the back of the phone or that you have an external power source

and the phone will sound a tone.???What does the phone do if the charge is low???
If you continue to use your phone without recharged and the battery level becomes too low,it will turn off
automatically. If this happens, unfortunately you'll lose whatever you were just doing. So,watch the indicator and
make sure your level is okay.???Is any of this true for the Samsung phone???
To charge your battery, you should use the Sprint PCS desktop charger, travel charger of cigarette lighter adapter
from Samsung.(The desktop charger is described in the next section.

into the charger and the other end into a wall outlet.
2. Insert either the battery pack alone or the phone with the battery pack installed into the slot.
A ???light??? on the charger will let you know the battery is being charged. A ???light???tells you when the
battery is at least 90 percent charged.
If your battery's charge is completely run down,it will take about ??? hours to fully recharge it.
With the Samsung-approved???name of battery type (like lithium ion was for Sony)
battery pack you don't have to completely discharge the battery before discharging it. If you leave your phone
