English5Charging the headsetThis headset has a rechargeable internal battery which is non-removable. Ensure that you fully charge the battery before using the headset for the rst time.1  Put the travel adapter into the jack on the headset and into a power outlet.
62  Disconnect the travel adapter from the power outlet and the headset when the indicator light changes to blue.Use only a Samsung-approved travel adapter. Unauthorised adapters may cause an explosion or damage to the headset. The battery will gradually wear out while charging or discharging because it is a consumable part. The headset is not able to operate while charging. Try connecting after charging is completed.•••When the battery charge gets lowA warning sound beeps and the indicator light ashes red. If you are on a call, transfer the call from the headset to the phone before the headset automatically turns off.
English7Wearing the headsetPlace the headset on your ear.  Ensure to put the correct (Left, Right) earpiece on each ear.Depending on what ear you are going to wear the headset, simply adjust the ear hook accordingly. Left     Right
8Using your headsetThis section explains how to turn the headset on, pair with the phone, and use various functions.Activated functions may differ depending on the types of your phone.Some devices, especially those that are not tested or approved by Bluetooth SIG, may be incompatible with your headset.••Turning the headset on or offTo turn the headset on, press and hold [ ] until the blue indicator light ashes 4 times.To turn the headset off, press and hold [ ] until both blue and red indicator lights ash.••
English9Pairing with your Bluetooth phonePairing will create a unique and encrypted wireless link between two Bluetooth enabled devices, such as a Bluetooth phone and a Bluetooth headset. To use the headset with other Bluetooth devices, both devices must be paired. When trying to pair the two devices, keep the headset and the phone reasonably close together.1  Enter Pairing mode.Turn off your headset and press and hold [ ] until the blue indicator light turns on and stays lit after ashing.If you turn the headset on for the rst time, it proceeds into Pairing mode immediately.2  Search for and connect with your phone according to your phone user's guide. (Bluetooth PIN: 0000, 4 zeros)The headset can be connected with two Bluetooth phones at the same time. After connecting with the rst Bluetooth phone, turn off the headset. Enter Pairing mode again and connect with the second Bluetooth phone.The headset attempts to reconnect to the last connected phone automatically each time it turns on. Otherwise, press [ ] to reconnect to the last connected phone.••••
10Using call functionsIf the headset is connected with two phones, all actions with [ ] are related with the rst connected phone.Making a callRedialing the last numberPress [ ] to redial the last number.For some phones, pressing the key opens the call log list. Press [ ] to dial the selected number.Dialing a number by voicePress and hold [ ] to dial a number by voice, and say a name.Answering a callPress [ ] to answer a call when you hear incoming call tones.Ending a callPress [ ] to end a call.Rejecting a callPress and hold [ ] to reject a call when a call comes in.
English11Using options during a callYou can use the following functions to control your call during a call.Adjusting the volumePress the Volume up or down button to adjust the volume.Muting the microphonePress and hold the Volume up or down button to turn the microphone off so that the person with whom you are speaking cannot hear you. Press and hold the Volume up or down button again to turn the microphone back on.Transferring a call from the phone to the headsetPress [ ] to transfer a call from the phone to the headset.Placing a call on holdPress and hold [ ] to place the current call on hold.Answering a second callPress [ ] to end the rst call and answer a second call when you hear call waiting tones. Press and hold [ ] to place the rst call on hold and answer a second call when you hear waiting tones.To switch between the current call and the held call, press and hold [ ].
12AppendixFrequently asked questionsWill my headset work with laptops, PCs, and PDAs?Your headset will work with devices that support your headset's Bluetooth version and proles. For specications, see page 16.Will anything cause interference with my conversation when I am using my headset?Appliances such as cordless phones and wireless networking equipment may cause interference with your conversation, usually adding a crackling noise. To reduce any interference, keep the headset away from other devices that use or produce radio waves.Will my headset interfere with my car's electronics, radio, or computer?Your headset produces signicantly less power than a typical mobile phone. It also only emits signals that are in compliance with the international Bluetooth standard. Therefore, you should not expect any interference with standard consumer-grade electronics equipment.
English13Can other Bluetooth phone users hear my conversation?When you pair your headset to your Bluetooth phone, you are creating a private link between only these two Bluetooth devices. The wireless Bluetooth technology used in your headset is not easily monitored by third parties because Bluetooth wireless signals are signicantly lower in radio frequency power than those produced by a typical mobile phone.The sound is echoing while talking.Adjust the speaker volume, or move to another area and try again.How do I take care of my headset?Wipe it with a soft dry cloth.The headset does not fully charge.The headset and the travel adapter may not have been connected properly.  Separate the headset from the travel adapter, reconnect, and charge the headset.
