Safety Information
Do not use the product during a thunderstorm, as it
may cause malfunction or a risk of electric shock.
Do not get the product wet or drop it in water.

could get an electric shock. Instead, contact a Samsung
Customer Service Center.
When you feel unusual smell or noise or find foreign
substances in the product, unplug the power cord immediately

_ Product Use
① Connect the AC Power adaptor to the DC Power jack on
the rear of the speaker.
② Connect the AC cord into the hole of the AC Power
adaptor until it fits in.
③ Connect the AC cord to the wall socket.

▶ If you want to turn on the speaker, press the [ ] button
on the speaker or the remote control.
䯼 The power LED turns blue.
䯼 When the speaker turns on, the last used external device mode
will be selected.
▶ If you want to turn off the speaker, press the [ ] button
on the speaker or the remote control.
Using Bluetooth
▶ This Bluetooth device may cause noise or malfunction,
depending on the use conditions.
- When a part of the body is in contact with the receiving/
transmitting system of the speaker or external device.
- Interference from walls, corners or office partitioning.
- Electrical interference from same frequency-band devices such as
medical equipment, microwave ovens and wireless LAN.
▶ The further the distance between the speaker and an MP3
player or hands free mobile phone, the lower the quality will be.
If the distance exceeds a certain range, the wireless networking
is disconnected.
▶ When pairing the Bluetooth device with the speaker, make it as
short a distance as possible.
What is Bluetooth? Bluetooth is a new technology that enables
Bluetooth-compliant mobile phones and
external devices to easily interconnect with
each other using a short wireless connection.

Samsung products. If used with third party products, some of
the Bluetooth features may not work properly.

Before you start!
▶
When pairing the speaker to another Bluetooth device, we
recommend keeping a distance of less than 1 meter(3 feet)
between the two devices.

With the speaker powered-off, press and hold the [ ]
button on the speaker or the remote control for 5 more
than seconds.
● The Bluetooth connection LED blinks and the speaker enters
the pairing mode.
● The pairing standby status lasts about 3 minutes. After 3
minutes, you should turn off and restart the speaker.
Select the Bluetooth menu on the Bluetooth
device.
Search for Bluetooth devices available on the
device you are using and select <YA-SBR510>
from the search results.
● When selecting a device to connect, select <Stereo
Headset> so that you can listen to music from the speaker.
● For more information, refer to the user manual for the
applicable device.

● The pairing of the speaker is completed.

Check the pin code of a Bluetooth audio dongle if you use it to

control.
▶ Previous / Next Track:
Press the [ / ] button.
▶ Reverse / Forward Search: Press and hold the [ / ]
button on the remote control
during music playback.
Press the [ ] button to set the Bluetooth mode.
● The Bluetooth connection LED turns on.
Play a music file on the connected Bluetooth device.
Or
Press the [ ] button on the remote control.
● You can listen to music through the speaker.
● During music playback, press the [ ] button on the remote
control to pause the playback and press the [ ] button
again to play.

Make sure the extenernal connection mode is set to Bluetooth mode.
If the Motion detection sensor detects human
body in sleep mode, it will turn on the speaker so
you can enjoy the music from the Bluetooth device
(using earphones), now through the speaker.
▶ Sleep mode
● If no human motion is detected for 5 minutes during no
playback in power connection condition.
● In sleep mode, only the power LED turns on.

In Bluetooth connection mode, the Bluetooth connection
can be set off if the interval between the speaker and the
Bluetooth device exceeds a certain distance. If the distance is
returned to the effective range or you restart the speaker, the
Bluetooth connection can be restored.

If the speaker has been paired with the Bluetooth device,
you can press the [ ] button to automatically restore the
Bluetooth connection even in case of disconnection.
◆
If you connect the speaker to other external device in Bluetooth
mode, the current Bluetooth connection is terminated and the
speaker will be connected to that external device.

Using the speaker with an external device
You can use the provided cable to connect to a Bluetooth non-
compliant device and enjoy music through the speaker.
Use the Line-in cable to connect the output
port (or Audio-out port) of the external music
player to the AUX jack of the speaker.
● When connected, the external device connection mode
will switch to [AUX].
Press the Play button on the external music player.
● You can listen to music from the speaker.

To set the alpha wave mode
The blue alpha wave light on the front of the speaker motions
rhythmically according to the music speed, volume, section and so
on to make you feel psychologically comfortable.

You can connect the speaker to devices with the Optical-out port such
as a DVD player or home theater system.
Using the Optical cable (not supplied)

Use the optical cable to connect the optical-out
port of the external music player to the optical
jack of the speaker.
Press the Play button on the external music
player.
● The external device connection mode will switch to
[OPTICAL].
● You can now listen to music from the speaker.

You can use the USB cable to listen to music through the speaker
from the PC.

Use the USB cable to connect the USB port ( )
of the PC to the USB connection port of the
speaker.
● When connected, the external device connection mode
will switch to [USB].
Play music on the PC.
● You can now listen to music from the speaker.

If you disconnect the USB cable, the playback will
be stopped.
To resume playing the music, exit the PC application
program and restart it.

This can be done only if the digital output of the
external audio device is set to PCM mode.
No other mode is supported.

Troubleshooting
䯼 If you have a problem with your speaker, check for a solution in this list. If the problem persists, contact
Samsung Customer Service.

Power will not turn on.
䯼 Check if the AC Power adaptor and the AC cord are properly connected.
䯼 Unplug the AC cord and connect it again.
Buttons do not work.
䯼 Check if the AC Power adaptor and the AC cord are properly connected.

The buttons on the speaker are the touch sensor system.
The touch button may not function if you use your fingernail or an instrument such as a
ballpoint pen.
䯼 Unplug the AC cord and connect it again.
Music is not playing.

Check if the current external device is playing music.
䯼
Check if you speaker is set to the right external device connection mode (AUX, OPTICAL,
USB, Bluetooth).
䯼 Check if you select MUTE on the remote control.

䯼 Check if the speaker is paired with the Bluetooth device you use.

The Bluetooth connection can be set off if you turn the speaker or Bluetooth device off and
on. In this case, try to connect again.
䯼 In Bluetooth connection mode, the Bluetooth connection can be set off if the interval between
the speaker and the Bluetooth device exceeds a certain distance. If the distance is reduced
to the effective range or you restart the speaker, the Bluetooth connection will be restored.
䯼 Check if the Line-in cable, the optical cable or the USB cable is properly connected.
The remote control does not

Your speaker has the auto mute function to protect from overheat as the internal temperature
of the speaker increases in case of an extended time of playback in a high ambient temperature.
