transitions and adaptors plus the length of all straight

calculate total equivalent ductwork length using the

Yourcabinetsmayhavedecorativetrimthatinterferes
with the microwave installation. Remove the decorative
trimtoinstallthemicrowaveproperlyandtomakeit
level.
Use a level to make sure the cabinet bottom is level.
Ifthecabinetshaveafrontoverhangonly,withnoback
or side frame, install the mounting plate down the same
distance as the front overhang depth. This will keep the
microwave level.
1. Measure the inside depth of the front overhang.
2. Drawahorizontallineonthebackwallanequal
distance below the cabinet bottom as the inside
depth of the front overhang.
3. Forthistypeofinstallationwithfrontoverhang
only,alignthemountingtabswiththishorizontal
line, not touching the cabinet bottom as described
inStepD.
1. Removetheinstallationinstructions,Exhaust
adaptor,lters,glasstrayandthesmall
hardwarebag.DonotremovetheStyrofoam
protecting the front of the oven.
2. Foldbackall4cartonapsfullyagainstcarton
sides.Thencarefullyrolltheovenandcarton
over onto the top side. The oven should be
restingintheStyrofoam.
3. Pullthecartonupandotheoven.
4. Removeandproperlydiscardplasticbags.

5. Remove the 2 screws from the mounting plate.
This plate will be used as the rear wall template
and for mounting.
NOTE: You will have to reuse two screws in original
loction of outcase after removing mounting plate.
1. Find the studs, using one of the following
methods:
A. Stud finder–a magnetic device which locates
nails.
OR
B.Useahammertotaplightlyacrossthe
mounting surface to find a solid sound. This
will indicate a stud location.
2. Afterlocatingthestud(s),ndthecenterby
probing the wall with a small nail to find the
edgesofthestud.Thenplaceamarkhalfway
betweentheedges.Thecenterofanyadjacent
studsshouldbe16˝or24˝fromthismark.

PROPER DAMPER OPERATION
ExhaustAdaptorandDamperis
shipped assembled to the filler-upper.
1. Slideexhaustadaptorfollowingtheinstructions
show in diagram.
2. Make sure tape securing damper is removed
anddamperpivotseasolybeforemounting
microwave.
• Youwillneedtomakeadjustmentstoassure
properalignmentwithyourhouseexhaustduct
after the microwave is installed.
