DUAL SMART OUTLET QUICK START GUIDE 1. Plug the Smart dual plug into a desired outlet.When the blue Wi‐Fi connection LED indicator is flashing slowly, the Smart Dual Plug is ready for network setup. 2. Make sure your iPhone or iPad (iOS 10.1 or later) is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi‐Fi network.Using the router utility software, shutdown 5GHz Wi‐Fi networks. 3. Download and open the free “Satechi Home” app from the App Store. 4. Log in or sign up for a Satechi account or simply tap skip. 5. Tap “+” on the top right cornet and follow the on‐screen directions to complete network setup. Note: To add more plugs(or repeat the plug setup process), tap “+” then scan the QR code to add the new accessory.Each accessory has an identification code, e.g., Satechi‐ xxx‐xxxxxx. Make sure the last 6 characters of the identification code is consistent with the last 6 characters of MAC on the back of your Smart Dual Plug. 6. When prompted, scan the QR code or manually enter the setup code, and then follow the step to add the device to the Home and Room. After scanning the QR code, if the app prompts “Couldn’t add Satechi‐XX‐XXX”, please refere to the firs FAQ. Please keep the QR code for future use. Note: When scanning QR code is NOT applicable, you may manual input the SETUP code on the QR code. Example: Satechi QR code 7. You can assign a name to your devie and use this name when speaking to Siri. For example, you can name your device “Heater”, then launch Siri and Speak “Turn on the heater ”. 8. Set up customized scenes to control multiple device with a signle command. For example, if you assign the “I’m leaving” command to the scene of turning off bedroom light and turning on the fan, when you speak “I’m home” to Siri, everything is done. Note: The use of a HomeKit‐enable accessory need the foloow permissions: Settings>iCloud>iCloud Drive>Turn On Sttings>iCloud>Keychain>Turn On Settings>Privacy>HomeKit>Satechi Home>Turn On Dual Smart Outlet Overview ③ ④ ① ② ⑤ ⑥ ① Power indicator (Reset button /Wi‐Fi connection indicator) ② Power indicator ③ Power button ④ Power button ⑤ Outlet 1 ⑥ Outlet 2 Power Button Turn on or off any outlet manually by pressing its respective power button on the smart plug. Restor factory settings Press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds. When the Wi‐Fi connection indicator light flashes blue slowly, it indicates that you have restored the device to factory settings. Wi‐Fi Connection Indictor Blue LED flashes slowly: Smart Dual Plug is waiting for a Wi‐Fi network configuration. Blue LED flashes quickly: Smart Dual Plug is disconnected from a Wi‐Fi network.
