Quick Reference Guide
The Savant Wireless RF Gateway (RFG-2000) Quick Reference Guide provides the
information necessary to setup and operate the Savant Select Remote. After the Savant
remotes are configured in RacePoint Blueprint, the remote will automatically find and
communicate (Synch) with the nearest RFG-2000.

Installation
1.
Screw mast antenna to RFG-2000 box.
2.
Screw mounting bracket at desired location.
3.
Snap RFG into mounting bracket (See below).
4.
Plug in 5V DC power supply.
For surface mounting, the RFG-2000 can be inserted into the sheet metal mounting bracket
that is shipped with the product. See below for installation instructions.

reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so
chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that
necessary for successful communication.
This radio transmitter (10052A-RFG2000) has been approved by Industry Canada to operate
with the antenna types listed below with the maximum permissible gain and required antenna
impedance for each antenna type indicated. Antenna types not included in this list, having a
gain greater than the maximum gain indicated for that type, are strictly prohibited for use with
this device.
