Subject: Request For Limited Modular Approval — FCC lD:WZC1021433
Dear Application Examiner:
Clipsal Australia Pty Ltd is seeking FCC authorization for the Model 1021433 Transmitter Module
as a limited modular RF transmitter. The requirements of the FCC Public notice DA00—1407 are
addressed as follows:
1.
The Modular Transmitter must have its own RF shielding.
The Model 1021433 Transmitter Module was in compliance with FCC Part 15 Subpart C
(47CFR 15) Sections 15.203, 15.207, and 15.249 without any RF shielding.
The Modular Transmitter must have buffered modulation/data Inputs.
The Model 1021433 Transmitter Module has buffered modulated/data inputs.
The Modular Transmitter must have its own power supply regulation.
The Model 1021433 Transmitter Module requires a regulated power supply specified at 120
vac 1 1.0 %.
The Modular Transmitter must comply with the antenna requirement of Section
15.203 and 15.204c.
The antenna of the Model 1021433 Transmitter Module is a 0 dBi antenna mounted on the
printed circuit board and is not user replaceable.
The Module Transmitter must be test in a stand-alone configuration.
The Model 1021433 Transmitter Module was tested in the requested stand—alone
configuration.
The Module Transmitter must be labelled with its own FCC ID Number.
The Model 1021433 Transmitter Module will be labelled with its own FCC ID number. This
Model 1021433 Transmitter Module is only intended for use in products manufactured
and/or controlled by Clipsal Australia Pty Ltd. An appropriate FCC Label identifying the use
of a limited modular device will be affixed to the final product.
