SeeFig. 1. A self diagnostic will automatically be run andyour wireless remote will be ready for operationwithin 30 seconds. Plug in the Male end of the3.5MM-to-RCA cable for vehicle use, or yourpersonal Ear Buds for portable use. See Fig.1.NOTE: The connection of a 3.5MM cable to thereceiver will provide optimum performance as it usesthis wire as an antenna for maximum range (Patentpending).  The receiver is powered by your iPod.Advanced Low Power Mode:Your Scosche iPod RF receiver uses an advancedpower down mode which minimizes current draw onyour iPod battery if you are not connected to aconstant power source.  After 20 minutes of sensingno music playing or no remote commands, the unitwill go into an advanced battery save mode.  Thereceiver will automatically re-power itself when itdetects music playing, (If there was none before) orit sees a remote button being pressed for more than0.6 seconds.5 BUTTON RF REMOTE CONTROLTrack Back:Press and release this button tomove track BACKWARDS.  Pressand HOLD this button to rewindthrough the track.Pause/Play/Sleep:Press and release to togglebetween Pause and Play.Press and HOLD for 2 fullseconds to put the iPod intosleep mode.  If you press andhold this button for longer than 1second but less than 2 secondsthe receiver will ignore yourrequest. Track Forward:Press and release thisbutton to move trackFORWARD.  Press andHOLD this button toforward through the track.Volume Up:Press and HOLD thisbutton to increase thevolume.Volume Down:Press and HOLD thisbutton to reduce thevolume.This device complies with FCC Rules Part 15.
