Hardware connectionPlease use ancillary power adapter to supply power for router, start router, and thenconnect your computer to the RJ45 port on the router by using a RJ45 network cable.Prompt: you can connect wireless broadband router via wireless interface. Whenconfiguring router for the first time, we recommend you to connect with wire method. Thefollowing setting steps are all based on wire connection.2. Set up your computer network in a correct wayThe router default LAN port’s IP address as 192.168.169.1 and default subnet mask as255.255.255.0. These values can be modified according to actual condition. The text willexplain it with default value.1) Double click “My Network Place” on desktop, and click “View network connections”on dialog box, and select “Local Area Connection” of corresponding network card on this page.

Select way to access the InternetRouter supports four wan accesses of static IP, dynamic IP, PPPoE and WiFi repeat. Clickcorresponding icon at bottom column on home page and select your access method. Router wasset into DHCP (dynamic IP) mode as the way to access the Internet when leaving factory.Select a static IP (fixed IP)If access way provided by network provider for you is static IP, you shall input ISP or IPaddress, subnet mask, gateway, DNS server and standby DNS server provided by networkadministrator for you.Select DHCP (Auto config)
Quick Installation Guide8If access way provided by network provider for you is dynamic IP, Please click on theicon“ DHCP (Auto config)” , next you don’t need to input anything, click “OK” directly.Select PPPoE (ADSL)If your way to access the Internet is “ADSL dial-up”, you only need to input accountinformation provided by ISP in input box of “user name” and "command”, complete setting, andclick “OK”.Select WiFi repeateIf you want to make current router connect to another exist wireless router though wirelessconnection, please select this mode.Enter into “WiFi repeate” setting interface, click "scan all AP”, It will list names ofsurrounding WiFi routers, select the router you need to connect, input password for connection,click “OK” and complete setting5. Wireless network settingComplete setting internet access method and configure security setting of wireless network toprevent illegal user access. Click “Wifi security settings” on home page and appear the following
Quick Installation Guide9UI:After basic setting of router is completed, you can click “advanced setup” icon on homepage to check partial connection status of router with ISP.
