In such cases, do not insert the modem directly into your computer’s USB slot; use the supplied USB extension cable and notebook computer clip instead.Note: Do not forcefully insert the Compass USB modem as you may damage connector pins.Note: Do not insert the Compass USB modem or the USB extension cable into a USB hub or, if your keyboard is separate from your notebook computer, a USB slot on your keyboard.TheCompassUSBmodemcomeswithTRU‐InstallaSierraWirelessfeaturethatinstallsthenecessarysoftwarethefirsttimeyouinserttheCompassUSBmodemintoyourcomputer.(YoudonotneedaninstallationCD.)2.
