1. Declaration
Note: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference, and
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may
cause undesired operation.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates, uses and radiates radio energy and, if not installed and used
in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does case harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
1. Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna;
2. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver;
3. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected;
4. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed with providing a separation
distance of at least 20cm from all persons.

3. Usage Scenarios
Connection mode
There are many connection modes of CPE for various demands: connecting to the
computer directly, connecting to the hub, etc. After you choose a connection mode, you
may start the CPE installation using the subsequent illustrations contained in this user’s
manual.
In the event of any difficulty during installation, please feel free to contact your CPE
provider.
CPE installation
Make sure your CPE is off before the installation, and the installation steps are as
follows:
1. Rotate the antenna 180 degrees clockwise, and fix the antenna by adjusting the
antenna lock nut.
Caution: Don’t overexert the antenna itself while rotate it. Fix the antenna by adjusting
antenna lock nut.
2. Insert the RJ45-connector of the Ethernet cable into the computer’s Ethernet
interface, and insert the other RJ45-connector of the Ethernet cable into the CPE’s
Ethernet interface.
3. Insert the connector of the phone line into the telephone’s phone interface, and
insert the other connector of the phone line into the CPE’s phone interface.
4. Insert one end of the power adapter connection line into the power supply interface
on the side
of CPE, and plug the other end into the 220V AC power socket.
5. Press the CPE power button, and state is “On”. If the power indicator light is off,
there should be something wrong with CPE or power adapter, please check the
equipment connections carefully.
If this activity doesn’t work, Please contact your CPE provider for help.
6. Observe the CPE signal strength indicator light:
CPE is searching the network if the light is flickering;
CPE has access to the BS if the light stops flickering, please follow the step 7;
if the light has been flickering for a long time, please refer to Troubleshooting on page 9.
7. Power your computer and log in, then configure the setting of your computer as the
requirement of network service provider, now you may surf the Internet.
8. You can use the phone without any settings. Just make and answer a call like
normal phone.
The Internet and voice services are provided by service providers, please make sure
they provide these services to you.
9. If don’t use CPE for a long time, turn off the CPE by pressing the power button until
the director light turns off.
Now your CPE installation is finished. If any problem exits, please refer to the next
section on troubleshooting.
4. Troubleshooting
If your CPE can’t access Internet after the installation, please observe the indicator light
of your CPE.
Indicator light
The indicator lights indicate important information during the use as shown in Table 4-1.
Status of major operating parameters, including the wireless signal, network connection
and power problems could be detected by those lights.

The light numbers are 1,2,3,4 from Top to Bottom, you can note
the
light states to your provider, which will be helpful for them to
locate the trouble.

5. CPE Upgrade
CPE upgrades normally in two ways:
1. Upgrade by the radio wave from BS to CPE without any user operation and this
cannot happen when the CPE is off.
2. When you get the upgrade information, you may take your CPE to the device
provider and their authorized personnel will do the upgrade for you.

Forbid using CPE in weather conditions prone to thunder and lightening and
always pull out the power adapter in such situations.
Do not use CPE at refueling points and do not use CPE near fuel or chemicals
either.
Cooling is needed when the CPE is running, maintain operating temperatures of
+5C to +40C and do not put the CPE and the power accessories at dusty places.
Don’t seal off the CPE or put other things on the CPE.

Take care of the CPE and always put it in a clean and dry environment. You can
use soft and dry cotton to clean the appearance of the CPE if it’s wet.
Make sure the CPE is off and the external power is cut off before clean it. Use
soft and wet cotton without strong chemicals, cleaning agent or detergent to
clean the appearance of CPE.
Don’t put the CPE in any environment where the temperature is too high, which
will cause its circuit to be damaged.
Do not disassemble the CPE randomly. Only qualified personnel may repair this
product.
Avoid frequent switching on/off of the CPE.
Use only the original accessories that are available, otherwise certain functions
will be invalidated, CPE damaged, and electric shock or personal injury may
occur. Damages caused by using non-original accessories void the warranty for
repair or replacement of the CPE.

Some wireless device may interfere with certain hearing aids. In the event of
such interference you may consult your hearing aid manufacturer to discuss
alternatives.
When you are around most medical devices, switch off the CPE and obey all
rules or instructions involved with their operation.
