Data transmission is always initiated by software, which is the passed down
through the MAC, through the digital and analog baseband, and finally to the RF
chip. Several special packets are initiated by the MAC. These are the only ways
the digital baseband portion will turn on the RF transmitter, which it then turns
off at the end of the packet. Therefore, the transmitter will be on only while one
of the aforementioned packets is being transmitted. In other words, this device
automatically discontinue transmission in case of either absence of information
to transmit or operational failure.

The term “IC:” before the radio certification number only signifies that Industry
Canada technical specifications were met.
5150-5250 MHz band is restricted to indoor operation only.
High-power radars are allocated as primary users (i.e. priority users) of the bands
5250-5350 MHz and 5650-5850 MHz and that these radars could cause
interference and/or damage to LE-LAN devices.

Overview
This equipment is a wireless LAN module for use attached to a Sony camcorder
and wireless adapter CBK-WA100/WA101.
Use the supplied network module extension adapter CBK-NA1E for cases when
you cannot attach the wireless LAN module since a wireless LAN adapter
interferes with the camcorder or when you want to improve the sensitivity of
radio reception.
Connect the convex terminal to the USB terminal* of a camcorder, etc. and
connect a wireless LAN adapter to the dented terminal. You can fix the unit using
the camcorder’s handle or the accessory shoe’s screw hole (1/4 inches).
* The terminal name differs depending on the attaching device (USB wireless
LAN module terminal or connecting terminal for external devices). For details,
see the manual of the connecting device.
Notes
The location where the transmission is most effective differs depending on the
usage environment.
Be sure to connect to target devices. Connecting to other devices may cause
communication failure.
Check precautions and instructions about the usage location of the product.
For details, refer to the operating instructions of each product.
To avoid damaging the product or the USB device, note the following
precautions when using the product.
When moving the product with a USB device connected, be careful not to
subject the USB connector to shock or force.

Vue d’ensemble
Cet appareil est un module LAN sans fil qui s’utilise en étant fixé à un caméscope
Sony et l’adaptateur sans fil CBK-WA100/WA101.
Utilisez l’adaptateur de module d’extension réseau CBK-NA1E fourni en cas
d’impossibilité de connecter le module LAN sans fil si un adaptateur LAN sans fil
interfère avec le caméscope, ou si vous souhaitez améliorer la sensibilité de la
réception radio.
Raccordez la borne convexe à la borne USB* d’un caméscope, etc., puis branchez
un adaptateur LAN sans fil à la borne bosselée. Vous pouvez fixer l’appareil à
l’aide de la poignée du caméscope ou du trou de vis de la griffe porte-accessoire
(1/4 pouce).
* Le nom de la borne varie selon le dispositif de connexion (borne du module

Übersicht
Dieses WLAN-Modul wird zum Gebrauch an einem Sony-Camcorder und dem
WLAN-Adapter CBK-WA100/WA101 angebracht.
Verwenden Sie den mitgelieferten Netzwerkmodul-Erweiterungsadapter
CBK-NA1E, wenn Sie das WLAN-Modul aufgrund von Interferenzen des WLAN-
Adapters mit dem Camcorder nicht anbringen können oder wenn Sie die
Empfindlichkeit des Radioempfangs verbessern wollen.
Verbinden Sie den nach außen gewölbten Anschluss mit dem USB-Anschluss*
eines Camcorders o. Ä. und schließen Sie einen WLAN-Adapter an den nach
innen gewölbten Anschluss an. Sie können das Gerät mit dem Griff des
Camcorders oder der Schraubenbohrung (1/4 Zoll) des Zubehörschuhs
befestigen.
* Der Anschlussname variiert je nach dem angebrachten Gerät (Anschluss für
USB-WLAN-Modul oder Verbindungsanschluss für externe Geräte).

Hinweise

Introduzione
Questa apparecchiatura è un modulo LAN Wireless da utilizzare collegata con
una videocamera Sony e con l’adattatore wireless CBK-WA100/WA101.
Utilizzare l’adattatore di prolunga per modulo di rete CBK-NA1E in dotazione nei
casi dove non sia possibile collegare il modulo LAN Wireless a causa
dell’interferenza di un adattatore LAN wireless con la videocamera o quando si
desidera migliorare la sensibilità della ricezione radio.
Collegare il terminale convesso al terminale USB* di una videocamera o altra
apparecchiatura e collegare un adattatore LAN wireless al terminale con la tacca.
È possibile fissare l’unità utilizzando l’impugnatura della videocamera o il foro
della vite del portaccessori (1/4 pollice).
* Il nome del terminale differisce in funzione del dispositivo da collegare

Introducción
Este equipo es un módulo de LAN inalámbrico para su utilización junto con una
videocámara Sony y el adaptador inalámbrico CBK-WA100/WA101.
Utilice el adaptador de extensión del módulo de red CBK-NA1E suministrado en
situaciones en las que no pueda conectar el módulo de LAN inalámbrico porque
un adaptador LAN inalámbrico interfiere con la videocámara o si desea mejorar
la sensibilidad de la recepción de radio.
Conecte el terminal convexo al terminal USB* de una videocámara, etc. y conecte
un adaptador LAN inalámbrico al terminal ranurado. Puede fijar la unidad
utilizando el asa de la videocámara o el orificio para tornillos de la zapata para
accesorios (1/4 pulg.).
* El nombre del terminal varía en función del dispositivo conectado (terminal de
módulo de LAN inalámbrico USB o terminal de conexión para dispositivos
externos). Para obtener más información, consulte el manual del dispositivo
conectado.
Notas
La localización cuya transmisión es más efectiva varía en función del entorno
de uso.
Asegúrese de conectarlo a los dispositivos de destino. Si lo conecta a otros
dispositivos podría provocar un fallo de comunicación.

LED: se ilumina y parpadea al realizar operaciones.

Si la unidad se lleva de repente de un lugar frío a uno cálido o si la
temperatura ambiente sufre un aumento repentino, es posible que se
acumule humedad en la superficie exterior o interior de la unidad. Este
fenómeno se conoce como condensación. Si se produce condensación,
apague la unidad y espere a que se evapore antes de ponerla en marcha. No
la utilice en ese estado, ya que podría dañarla.
