おサイフケータイの場合は、クリップ付きキャップをはずした状態で、おサイフケータイを手に持
ち、本製品の の位置にかざしてください。
クリップ付きタイプをコンピューターから取りはずす際は、図の部分をつかむと、本体とキャップ
を同時に取りはずすことができます。
ご注意
本製品は使用中に温かくなる場合があります。発熱部位が皮膚の同じ場所に触れたままの状態で

本製品にカードなどをセットします。

Windowsの［スタート］ボタン−［すべてのプログラム］−［FeliCaポート］−［FeliCaポート

自己診断］の順にクリックします。
画面の指示に従って自己診断を行い、本製品が正常に動作することを確認してください。

自己診断結果で「NG」と表示された場合は、自己診断画面の指示に従ってください。
FeliCaランチャーの使いかた
FeliCaランチャーとは
FeliCaカードやおサイフケータイを本製品にかざすだけで、そのカードに応じたソフトウェアやWeb
サイトを呼び出せる便利なツールです。
USB接続で本製品用ソフトウェアを自動インストールした場合は、同時にインストールされます。
FeliCaランチャーが起動し、タスクトレイに緑色のアイコン

された状態で、本製品にFeliCaカードまたはおサイフケータイをかざす
対応したソフトウェアやWebサイトの一覧が表示されます。
目的に応じたソフトウェアを選択し、起動する

FeliCaランチャー起動時、本製品用ソフトウェアの更新を行う「FeliCaアップデーター」が表示さ
れることがあります。表示された場合は、画面の指示に従いソフトウェアの更新を行ってくださ
い。

Basic Operation
Do not apply excessive force or pressure to the unit when it is connected to the computer’s
USB port. Doing so may result in damage to the unit or the computer.
For models without clips (RC-S360/S)
Remove the cap and attach it to the rear end of the unit (figure ).
Connect the unit to the computer's USB port (figure ).
Hold the card to the portion of the unit with your hand (figure ).
For models with clips (RC-S360/SH)
Remove the clip cap and slide it onto the rear end of the unit (figure , ).
Connect the unit to the computer's USB port (figure ).
Insert the card into the clip on the unit (figure ).
When removing a model with a clip from the computer, hold the portion shown figure to remove
both the unit and the cap simultaneously.
Notes
The unit may generate heat during use. Although the heat does not reach extremely high
ˎtemperatures, direct bodily contact for prolonged periods with the heated portion of the unit may
result in redness and minor blistering of your skin.
If the unit is placed near an object that produces electromagnetic radiation, communication
ˎerrors may occur with cards due to interference. Distance the unit from these objects to prevent
interference.
The unit may not function properly if you hold multiple cards to the unit at the same time.

Depending on the card type, the unit may not function properly. In such cases, verify operation
ˎwith the self-diagnostic tool.
As the timing for when to hold cards to the unit differs for each service, follow the specific
ˎoperating procedure of the service in use.
When disconnecting the unit from the computer, select [Safely Remove Hardware] to stop the
ˎunit before disconnecting it.

Notes
Software is not supplied with this unit. You must install software using one of the following
methods.
If software is provided by the provider of the service you are using, follow your provider’s setup
ˎinstructions to install the software. In such cases, do not connect the unit to the computer until
after software installation is complete.
If the provider of the service you are using instructs you to use this unit’s auto-install function,
ˎperform the following setup procedure.

Check that the computer is connected to the Internet before connecting the unit to the
computer.
Installation of the software for this unit starts automatically. Follow the instructions on the

Place a card on the unit.

Click the Windows [Start] button, and select [All Programs] – [FeliCa Port] – [FeliCa Port
2 Self-Diagnosis].
Follow the instructions on the screen to perform self-diagnosis, and verify that the unit is
3 functioning properly.
If “NG” appears as the self-diagnosis result, follow the instructions on the self-diagnosis
screen.
