Hearing Aid CompatibilityYour phone is designed for Hearing Aid Compatibility (HAC)and can be used with hearing aids.This product has not been tested using WiFi.Hearing Aid SettingsYou can choose the setting in the phone to match thesetting in your hearing aid before making or receiving calls.To select a phone setting for HAC1From the Home screen, tap  .2Find and tap Settings > Call settings.3Mark the Hearing aids checkbox to turn on hearing aidcompatibility.Hearing Aid Compatibility andNew TechnologiesThis phone has been tested and rated for use with hearingaids for some of the wireless technologies that it uses.However, there may be some newer wireless technologiesused in this phone that have not been tested yet for use withhearing aids. It is important to try the different features ofthis phone thoroughly and in different locations, using yourhearing aid or cochlear implant, to determine if you hear any
interfering noise. Consult your service provider about itsreturn and exchange policies and for information on hearingaid compatibility.Hearing Aid CompatibilityRatingThis model handset was designed to comply with therequirements set forth in Section 20.19 of the FederalCommunication Commission's (FCC) rules governinghearing aid compatibility (HAC), for the reduction of RFinterference and magnetic coupling (T-coil) to hearing aids.The Microphone (M) rating and T-coil (T) rating is definedand labeled on the handset box. Devices meeting HACcompliance must have a minimum M3 and/or T3 rating orabove as defined by the FCC in accordance with the latestANSI Standard C63.19. The (M) rating refers to lower RFemission levels of the handset. The (T) rating refers to themagnetic coupling between the handset and the T-coilcompatible hearing aid. Some hearing aids are alsoprovided an (M) rating, and are more immune than othersto interference. To determine the (M) rating of your hearingaid, please contact your hearing health professional.
