make conference call indoors and outdoors.

Charging
To charge your accessory
There are several ways to charge your accessory:
•Connect the BSP10 to a power source.
•Place the BSP10 on any Wireless Charging Plate which supports the Qi inductive
power standard.

Getting started
To prepare using your accessory with an Xperia™ device
Before you can use your BSP10 accessory with an Xperia™ device, for example, to
play music or handle incoming calls, you must first pair the two devices. You can pair
your BSP10 accessory with an Xperia™ device using either the Bluetooth® or NFC
functions. Once the devices are paired, your BSP10 accessory automatically
establishes a connection with the Xperia™ device.
To pair the BSP10 accessory with an Xperia™ device using NFC
1On the Xperia™ device, make sure that the NFC function is turned on and that
the screen is active and unlocked.
2Turn on the BSP10 accessory.
3Position your Xperia™ device in such a way that the NFC detection area of
each device touches the other.
To pair the BSP10 accesory with an Xperia™ device using Bluetooth®
1Xperia™ device: Make sure the Bluetooth® function is turned on.
2BSP10 accessory: Press and hold down the Bluetooth pairing button until you
hear a beep and a blue notification light flashes rapidly.
3Xperia™ device: Search for and connect to the BSP10 accessory. When the
accessory is successfully paired with the Xperia™ device, the notification light
turns solid blue.
To use the BSP10 accessory to answer incoming calls
1Make sure the BSP10 accessory is paired with an Xperia™ device that
supports call handling.
2When a call comes in, press .
Please note that the calling function and call button is not supported for VoIP call.
To use the BSP10 accessory to listen to music
1Make sure the BSP10 accessory is paired with an Xperia™ device.
2Play the audio or video file on the Xperia™ device. The sound is automatically
played through the speakers of the paired BSP10 accessory.

Disconnecting and reconnecting
To disconnect your Xperia™ device from or reconnect it with your
accessory
There are several ways to disconnect your Xperia™ device from or reconnect it with
the BSP10 accessory:
•On the Xperia™ device, deselect or select BSP10 in the list of paired Bluetooth®
devices.
•Place the Xperia™ device over the BSP10 accessory so that the NFC detection area
of each device touches the other.
To pair with another device
1On the Xperia™ device, deselect BSP10 accessory in the list of paired
Bluetooth® devices.

Troubleshooting
I cannot answer a second call
•Make sure that your calling device supports the Bluetooth® Handsfree profile.
•Make sure that the correct calling device is selected.
The Bluetooth® Speaker turns off unexpectedly
•If the speaker beeps several times shortly before turning off, the battery level is low.
Charge the battery.
Unexpected behaviour
•Reset the speaker.
No connection between Bluetooth® Speaker and other device
•Make sure that the speaker is charged and within range of the device that you want
to connect to. A maximum distance of 10 metres (33 feet), with no solid objects in
between, is recommended.
•Disable the Bluetooth® function in the other device so that all connections are
closed, then re-enable the Bluetooth® function and pair the speaker with the device
again.
