Do not returnyour Air Hogs®to the store. Call theAir Hogs®flight training centre at1-800-622-83391. Open the battery door with a screwdriver.2. If used batteries are present, remove these batteries from the unit by pulling up on one end of each battery.3. Install new batteries as shown in the polarity diagram (+/-) inside the battery compartment.4. Replace battery door securely.5. PRE-FLIGHT ENVIRONMENT CHECKCHARGING YOUR JET1. Push theON/OFFswitch on thebottom of thejet to theLEFT to turnthe jet OFF.2. Set the Controller/Charger switch to OFF. 4. Carefully push the chargenozzle all theway into the jet’scharge port located on thebottom of the jet.3. Flip the ChargeDoor open toreveal theCharge Nozzle. 1432FLYING INSTRUCTIONS6. Remove ChargeNozzle gentlyfrom the jet’sCharge Port andclose the ChargeDoor. When launching the jet, use partial throttle. Refrain from using the directional toggle while launching the jet.Launch  the jet against the windand parallel to the ground.When preparing for take off, check the direction of the wind.Always launch your jet against the windfor the best take off and flight results.TIP: The wind will blow against your face, if you are facing the correctdirection.5IMPORTANT CHARGING INFORMATION:• Before taking your initial flight, charge the jet for a complete charge cycle on your charger.• Depending upon the length of future play, you will not need to complete a full charge before each flight.NOTE: A shortened charge results in a shorter playtime (may take up to 1/2 hour to fully charge).ChargeDoor61. Location – Fly in a large wide-open, grassy locationthat is free of buildings, trees, overhead wires, andother obstructions. Do not fly near people or animals.2. Weather – Fly on mild, sunny days. Do not fly in electrical storms, rain, sleet, snow or other adverseweather conditions. Do not fly if the temperature isbelow 7°C/45°F. In very cold temperatures, the jet willbecome fragile and the engine performance willdecrease.3. Wind Conditions – Do not fly in wind. Winds may overpower the jet and make it difficult to control. Inwindy conditions, it may appear as though you have no control over the jet.Holes in plugmust align withpins in jet.55. Set the Controller/Chargerswitch to ON. During thecharging process, thecharging LED will turn ON.When the Thunder Strike™Jet is completely charged, the charging LED will turn OFF. ChargingLEDPush the jet’sON/OFF switch to the right to setthe jet to ON.Fully extendController/Chargerantenna. Push theController/ChargerSwitch right to ON to start thejet’s engine.PowerLED willturn red.43122
