INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR MODEL 1000
StatSIGNAL Systems, Inc.
Atlanta, Georgia
Model 1000 Repeater/Transceiver
FCCID: PK9R001
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device
must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.
Use the instructions below to install the Repeater Module for the StatSIGNAL System
1. Remove the unit from its shipping carton.
2. Identify a shelf or table top close to a window or outside wall which is between the
repeater and the units to which it will communicate. Air flow to the unit may be
blocked because the unit generates very little heat (less than 200 milliwatts).
3. Set the Repeater on the shelf or table top with its antenna in a vertical position.
4. Connect 110VAC to the unit using the power cord for the Repeater. The unit
requires less than 0.002 amps.
At this point, the Repeater is ready to function. The Site Controller will load all necessary
data to it when the unit is found by that controller.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital
device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the Model 1000 off, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
-Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
-Consult StatSIGNAL or an experienced radio/TC technician for help.
