Setting up your Freedom
1. POWER ON/OFF
Plug in the power cable to the back of the Freedom (use the provided power supply). To turn
ON your Freedom speaker, press and release the power button on the back of the unit. Press
the start button on the touch pad and wait for the Freedom start-up chime to signal that your
unit is now turned ON. To turn your Freedom speaker OFF, press and hold the power button
for 3-5 seconds. The Freedom speaker is now turned OFF.
2. BLUETOOTH®
Pairing: For Bluetooth® pairing, search for the Freedom device and connect to it.
Connected: Once connected, you should now be able to play audio.
3. BLUETOOTH® CONTROLS
Audio Play and Pause: To pause or resume playback when connected through Bluetooth®,
press the "►║" button.
Audio Skip and Return: To skip or return a track when connected through Bluetooth®,
press the "►►|" to skip or press the "|◄◄" button to return.
Disconnect Bluetooth: To disconnect your device from Bluetooth®, press and hold the
"►║" button until you hear a beep sound. If you want to reconnect to Bluetooth®, repeat the
steps in 2. Bluetooth®.

4. VOLUME
To adjust the volume on the Freedom, press and hold down on the volume up "+" or the
volume down "-" buttons on the touch surface of the Freedom. Release the button when you
reach your desired volume level.
5. AUX INPUT
To play audio using audio cable, plug the cable from your audio device into the AUX jack in
the back of the Freedom speaker. If you want to switch to AUX while Bluetooth® mode is
enabled, simply press the "►║" button and wait 3-15 seconds (time will vary depending on
the Bluetooth® version on your device). After this time, your AUX mode should be active.
Note: USB and QI wireless charging cannot be used at the same time.
