The display in the instrument cluster of the vehicle will inform the user when the battery of the RF transmitter is getting low (weak). The battery indicator light in the instrument cluster flashes when the battery voltage level is decreasing to a lower than 2.3 V, the battery should be replaces. The minimum operating voltage is approximately 2.1 V. If the voltage drops below 2.1 V the RF transmitter will not operate and battery needs to be replaced. Battery: Replacing the battery: Remove the screw on the back side of the FOB, and open the battery cover having with transmitter buttons facing down.
